uninstall
delete programs in the regestry
clean up the crap
"fix" the regestry (not everything)
edit auto run at startup
forgot:
avast: is a good free anti virus that updates daily, i have it on 4 laptops and 8 desktops and i never had a problem (avast.com)
system mechanic 7 pro: good 30 day trial run it to fix your computer than uninstall when done the trial is fully functioning (iolo.com)
registry toolkit for windows 95-xp: can defragment the registry but i forgot where i got it.
pc optimizer pro: super ccleaner but when clearing your tracks you will need to reconnect to the internet becuase it defaults that setting in windows. forgot where i for it.
go to pcpitstop.com and run the scans they have on thier home page, scans for virus speed fragmentation spyware drivers ect.
