It has been quite a while, but your artwork remains as brilliant as always. Your first sketch looks like game concept art, and the second is a good work by itself, but when viewed after the first, there are certain aspects that seem a bit...unrefined. There are a few details that are a bit under-refined, even if you're depicting where the light is hitting the character. The character's pistol, top portion of his left shoulder, and the upper most edges of his hat either need more definition, or need to be given a slightly darker outline.

Good stuff you have there IPS; but for the last one: If you add sharp lines to it, it would look better imo, but add lines after you complete the shading and such, it would look better that way I think

i'm afraid that in comparison to your earlier, less organic works, these character studies are less robust. still well done but i get the feeling it's not exactly your thing (yet).

I have to agree with you. Organic shapes are still a very difficult for me and I'm not satisfied yet. That also why I havn't colord them.
But I will keep trying

The only thing in the sketch that I can see is that the wing structure on the character's left side aren't quite a mirror image of what's on the right. The character's left shoulder is slightly higher than the right and a bit shorter. Granted, this is just in the early sketching stage, but these are things to keep in mind.

That sketch doesn't look Homeworld-y IMO, it looks more like Mass Effect, something alliance or geth thing.
