I think units with under x health, just outright die, and if you have enough HP, it will only graze you. Only seems to damage ship sections. Here are two pictures:

After it attacks:

From what I can see of your black beauty, the shape does fit it very well. It's no doubt that you made it black on purpose :D .

Yeah, it's impossible to see in Shipbuilder, and even with the dark gray glow it's hard to see. Fast, and stealthy.

You can stop it, you just have to see it, and do 1K damage to it. Though it moves so freaking fast.

It's neither of your Ideas, the idea came up on the official forums for the game long before either of you capitalized on it.

I read how smaller bits with high health can cause high damage if their parent section is destroyed, so I figured out a way to use that in a suicide ship =0

Yea but that was still done before you.
Also those things don't work too well against my ships. :dope:

Whoa, that's a sleek design. The back wing sections overlapping is a great idea, looks very well executed. It doesn't seem to be able to defend itself though, considering I can't see any guns on it :dope:

Does anyone care how old it is? It's fun - that's what games are about. Not "it's made in November this year, and it's graphics are so awesome but it gets boring after 10 minutes, but I'll still play it because of what it looks like".

Why is everything parented to the core? :dope:

So the individual parts aren't reliant on one another, just the core, which is well protected.

This isn't meant to be as serious as some of your guys ships. I was getting fed up with Mathias' Odin, so I made this as the Odin raper.

I never said anything about playin games purely for graphics.
I was legitimately curious about the year in which it was released.

Wizard, your ship's lit up like a "frickin' Christmas tree" (how appropriate too) :dope: .

All kidding aside, Ulysses looks like a stout ship and the general shape of it is pleasant.

That does mean that if something blows out a number of sections in a line straight through it, the sections "attached" to the sections that have been destroyed will still be part of the ship, with the same position in relation to the core, which just looks stupid.

How often does that actually happen?!?!?

Also, I don't know if it was revealed or not, but here's my "space-Pentagon+ The Lorganstraum. This serves as the main Battlefleet command for the Geisepi Empire (My Faction)

Posted Image
_____________
_____________
The year is 2558. The United Terran Federation and the Geisepi Empire are giving each other baleful looks. Planning their invasions and dreaming of triumph. It would not be easy. And may brave men will perish. But whoever command both Terra (Earth, obviously) and Veroninsgrad will be the uncontested victor in the soon to come war. Here are the specs of the Geisepi Emperor's Navy.
-------------------------------
The Geisepi Imperial Corvette, useful for Border Patrol duty.

Posted Image
-------------------------------
Posted Image
Posted Image

The cousin of the St. Martin, the St. Eadlow. Both the Martin and Eadlow are stalwart gunships that can pack a punch of ships several times their size. The Eadlow is the older of the two at 8 1/2 years of service.
-------------------------------
Posted Image

You all know the front-line craft of the Geisepi Empire, the Segetsia, right? This thing makes a wonderful Shield-Wall. A realatively old ship at 12, a Segetia II is rumored to being on the drawing boards of Geispei Imperial Shipyards at Veroninsgrad (capital world)
-------------------------------
Posted Image

A mercenary craft. This rickity old bird has seen some heavy fighting and has proven to be worth every penny the old Geisepi captains and the Mercenary captains pay for it. Which isn't a lot considering the mass production in it's heyday.
-------------------------------
Posted Image

The only reason the Thor is still in service is because of it's legendary reputation that it enforced time and time again. The maker of the ship is hailed as something close to a demi-god. Lankitda Shipyards have damn-near a monopoly on Emperor Dashime IV's requests for his navy thanks to the Thor. It went into service in 2471.
-------------------------------
Posted Image

Some call the Scorpius a cruel joke, but it proves to be quite strong and a useful gun platform, regardless of the fact it's ugly as sin. Using magnetization to keep the platforms from turning into Kamikaze vessels as soon as it leaves stable gravity, it can lay good fire power, and it's Aegis-Hardened shell means it can soak up large amounts of pain.
-------------------------------
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l319/Qam...ver/olympus.png

Although it bears a resemblance to a space ship from a show back in the ancient Modern Age, this vessels takes itself with pride. A Command Ship, these serve as the Admiral's Filed Post in Naval Operations. This is the newest vessel in the fleet. Which isn't saying much considering the mostly obsolete condition of the Geisepi Fleets.
-------------------------------
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l319/Qam...rever/aegia.png
These Space Stations are used as more permanent Command Centers for Geisepi Campaigns. These are used as Logistics centers when not used for coordinating naval movements. Only the Emperor and top Shipwrights know the true age of these vessels, so the speculation ranges from prototype to when humans first began exploration in 2120, which is highly unlikely.
-------------------------------
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l319/Qam.../smallcraft.png

These three vessels are the support craft for Geisepi Navies. The top is the Zyphon, a troop carrier that is still a slight prototype, the middle is the Leshen Scoutship a new vessel on it's maiden campaigns, and the bottom has been forgotten, due to the UTF sabotage and destruction of the blueprints.

Last two THREE are links because of image limit.
