I loved the music during the finale where you enter the area around the Reichstag and like every window is covered by a 42. You wait for the tanks to blast your way and as as soon as you're good to go, the final onslaught begins. Really epic and as you run and gun your way through the buidling trying to get on the roof, it kind of feels like Star Wars Episode 6 where they blew the Deathstar and escape through the core structure. It really has that "This war ends NOW"-kind of feeling to it.
That is one of my fav scenes....also the music that runs when you are defending Pegasus Bridge. Most of you squad has died,a whole bunch of Germans running nad youre shooting the tanks and then the music gives an ambient like that your struggle against all odds sent the germans into retreat

Yes, 2150 music was pwn. Too bad 2160 music sucked (Also, that series is probably dead, I didn't like 2160 one bit).

I agree there, but I also loved the Music from the first game, especially Clyde's Track.
Also, did you know that when you changed the CDs, you were able to listen to them ingame?

Huh, didn't know that. Too bad I can't test that, I sold the old shoebox (my PS).
Although it doesn't matter, I have the soundtrack on my MP3 player.

Halo series (2 is more actiony, 1 and 3 are more visceral)
Homeworld series
Need for Speed Most Wanted's police chases
Ace Combat series
Star Wars games. Just because they sound like Star Wars soundtracks, you know what's going on.
Some games, though, while not being cinematic, still have a nice moody music
C&C series. Tiberian Sun's music was the best in my opinion, had a bleak feeling to it like the rest of the game, but that's what made it good.
The original Rise of Nations (expansion included). Though the peacetime (when no one was at war with you) music loop was somewhat repetitive (and easy to predict sooner or later) it was still well done. The wartime music was another story. Well done, very moody, could be in a movie.
Burnout 2 and 3. Action! Action! More action!

Yeah, you could always do that. It made the load times longer and you'd have to switch for loading screens themselves but it was cool sounding. Never tried it meself, but my PS1's still around here somewhere (with the original controllers and memory card too!)
