Just to get a thread here to inform you, we from Thundermods.net are working on Dune: Arrakian Wars (DAW for short), which brings back the War of Spice.
DAW is based on the last installment of the Dune-Series, Emperor: Battle for Dune, but will not be a 1:1 clone, so some things are different then in Emperor.

I never had the opportunity to play the original, but from what I remember seeing of the original, I can see you guys have stayed pain-stakingly true to form. The screenshots are superb, and should I ever get my hands on CnC3 (and a rig to run it properly) I am most certainly going to play this mod .

My older brother had Emperor: Battle for Dune, but i never played it yet .....

Those are fantastic work !! The terrain seems exactly the same as the original!!

Btw, how does the giant worm works??

for the moment we have not any updates, but we're working hard on this mod. but as is said, for the moment nothing to see for the public

I used to play Dune, but sadly I stopped playing it. It was an AWESOME game. This mod is awesome! I'm DEFINITELY GONNA GET IT!! Oh and btw, I just remembered that there is another mod like this that brings back a game in C&C3 as a mod: Tiberian Sun Rising!

very nice I love dune and dune 2 was the first game I ever played on computer which lead me to buy c&c 1 in the first place

Looks like a near direct copy of the Imperial Macharius Vanquisher (or is it the other way round?). That being said, it still looks nice and certainly should live up to its name.
