Its naic as a start bt u should not be using primitices all the way, aill only make it more complicated 4 u to switch to per vertex/poly editing.

practice, the best tutorial :P

True, but it's a bit hard to practice when you don't know how to start.

About the tank: I like the look of it, to be honest. However, there are a lot of segs that could be deleted without any worry about detail. If you e-mail it to me, I can low-polyize it for you.

Inset and Extrude modelling is way more effective at keeping the polycount low, even though it may be harder to get the right shapes

Ya, with low segs, the extrusion doesn't get the shape I want.

Should I actually use edge instead of many segs?
Though it doesn't really give me what I want.

Basically it means someone who was once in the same situation as you. Judging you in a negative - unhelpful way.

Basically say I say to someone " lols your particles suck11!! "
I wouldn't do that, as its unhelpful and un-needed. And while now my particles are good, they once used to be just as bad as everyone else ^ So that would be me " getting on my high horse "

You should try this technique instead - working on a purely vertex/poly level. It´s better if you want to keep the poly count low.

I´ll see if I can get a less complicated, better understandable example later.

Yeah I use the vertex thing to shape the way I want a certain item to look. Though if it is complicated don't you need more segs to model more efficiently?

Finished a model and it has very low poly,.
Though I saved it as an .P3D how do I convert it into a gmax file?

No segments or anything. I don´t work on vertex level for editing but for creating, then polys are clamped between the polys - naturally, some vertex/edge/poly cloning speeds up the work flow extremely, but the basic shape, combining different model parts etc. is done on vertex LVL only.

@Ion Cannon :

I wonder if you are talking about me ... if so then I dunno what you are talking about, and if u meant that pic I wasnt
"Judging Him In a negative" I was just showing him his mistakes in a funny way and I dont think Ellipsis took it that offensively(If He did then I am sorry :dope:) ... And yeah I was a noob ... everyone was ...
And if u werent talking about me then Nevermind the whole paragraph ;)

Now get an error wenn try open a W3D model.
In the open file box it noticing the file extention but cant open file.
Or wenn try to import a file: No appropriate import module found/improper file format.

He means you posted in a topic that has gone 2 weeks without response. However we allow topics to be 'necroed' if they contain new information, this new petition for help fits that bill (you could have made a new topic) so I decided to leave it open, hoping someone would response with help.
