in the spirit of being retro after the release TFD hw about conversions of some of the original C&C's missions? or some of the covert ops missions. iam not asking for direct clones just definitive simularities.
i think every C&C player would get a kick out of replaying some of the more famous old school missions.

Actually only the first general would really suit it, too many units and differences IMO to actually make this work.

Btw, there is no restriction that says that we must talk about campaign-missions.
There could also be some unique, independant ShW-missions which you can play in Skirmish-Mode. Only that they aren't normal skirmish, they have mission-objectives and cutscenes...

And for independent mission, I like a 2v1 one, like Tank and Infantry general ties up to take on Armor Gen....

Sounds good. Even if you let out the Inf-Gen, Tank versus Armor would still be the mother of all battles.
Concerning those stand-alone missions in general, they could also be China against USA since there's no need to keep the original campaign-storyline...
BF2 gives some nice ideas for "USA vs. China"-scenarios, like China has taken over Wake Island and the US have to retake it...with support of an Aircraft-carrier. "Gulf of Oman", "Strike at Karkand" or "Sharqi Peninsula" would also look good as Generals-missions, if you know what I'm talking about

It would be great to see a map like this in Shockwave, with USA fighting GLA.
It could also support the Navy when V1.0 comes out.

Yhea, that one, it kicks almighty 4$$!

This way one could choose many different ways to win the campaign.

i doubt a US president or highup general would even allow himself to get in a situation that could couse him to be an easy target it would be alot more logical if it were demo jarmen who would need to blow up some key structures to power down a us defence line for instance

it could be started by an unprovoked chinese attack to diego garcia and from there on.. the chinese began to use stolen techs from the US and...umm.. i don't know..
