Prolly one of the worst movies i saw in this millenia... I consider this a complete mock up to both Predator and Alien series and the worst story ever possible to combine the 2 series. Predators look like the weakest dudes and aliens like OPed creatures...I mean a single Alien is stronger than a Predator and is capable of killing 2 of em at the same time now thats something i call bollocks. And the ridicilous thing is how the Predator weapons seem to be butchered ( no shoulder cannon and the disc looks like a damn shuriken... All in all this movie is total BS and the only reason why i gave it 2.5 is cuz they used the classic lookin predator and thats quite it

A really inspirational film that follows along the typical inspirational formula but surprisingly lacks those very cliches.

A really good movie. Comedy at its best performance and the acting is very good. Truly one of the cooler movies in the series altho some of the original characters are missing.

Iron Man - 8/10.
A very good story, excellent effects, an interesting moral dimension and especially a fanstastic performance by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (and a hell of a lot of cool explosions) make this one of the best comic-book movie adaptations I've seen. The only real downside was the end fight sequence, which was a tad predictable and a little difficult to suspend belief. All the same, the rest of it was brilliant, and I recommend it to anyone interested in Spider-Man, Batman, or any of those other Marvel ones if you haven't already seen it.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 6.5/10
I don't ususally have a lot of time for those who say 'the originals were great, the new ones are crap' - I prefer the Star Wars prequels to the original trilogy (save Episode I, but I digress) - but in this case I'd have to say that time has not been entirely kind to the series. Harrison Ford is wonderful as always and there's a lot of the original spirit but the CGI and action sequences are really rather overblown and it just makes it difficult for me to get into the movie at times. Also the alien dimension seemed a little out of place. Still, the nuke was really cool, the Russians are evil (I didn't think Cate Blanchette's accent was that bad) and it's a great lot of good fun and something of a romp, just don't expect it to be all that serious, even to the level of the three original movies.

We are tormented with a D grade The Day after Tomorrow clone with horrible acting, the most horrible CGI I have ever seen, and a running time that makes it an endless torture..

Just as good as Iron Man. The character who played Dr. Elizabeth Ross didn't do a very good job thought

Had the stunning visuals that you expect from a Marvel film, lacked the witty nature of Ironman with only one good joke the entire film (plenty of spaces for them however). Honestly I'd have expected better.
@TPAM, Liv tyler
Mr & Mrs Smith 7/10
Missed the first 30 mins but the remainder was amusing with plenty of classic US made one liners. Sort of fell over itself trying to end well.

Pixar's masterpiece. Frankly, I think it's the best film they have made so far.

I loved this movie. Wall-E is an adorable character. He is so curious. The movie taught me something. We've gotta go green soon, or else we might HAVE to live in space. Also, it made me laugh how humans have become fat, useless vegtables after 700 years in space. I know it's rated G, but I would reccomend this movie to anyone, especially to Sci-Fi fans. One thing I also have to commend Wall-E for is the visuals. Wall-E looks so incredibly real even though the movie was made with computers. Wow, if only they could do this kinda suff for video games. The story is wonderful. And, it is so awesome how the Captian of the Axiom fights the autopilot and how all of the people on the ship cheer when he takes his first step. It is Pixar's best. No question, Wall-E will get film of the year, and it will go down in history.
11/10
P.S. Hancock comes out today. Will Smith, you should be ashamed! Remember I am Legend? You rocked in that movie. (I din't actually see Hancock, I just saw the commercials and trailers. It looks bad, bad, BAD!)

The Incredible Hulk: 7/10 I haven't watched the first one so I can't compare it really. The action and visuals were pretty good but there's always been something about Hulk tha I've never really liked. Plus the Ending is an awesome tease.
The Forbidden Kingdom: 8/10 Funny and classic style kung fu movie. Its plot line is original enough and its always a pleasure to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie. I just feel the alternate life element could have been more definite.
300 (on DVD): 10/10 300 'nuff said

Infinite/10. What can you say to 3 films that won 30 Academy Awards?
The Incredible Hulk
8/10. Not bad. Funny to see Tony Stark and Stark Industries, thinking will they combine those two comics.
Narnia: Prince Caspian (If I didn't said it once)
10/10. Better than last one.

A very charming film. The plot is very cliched ex: doubting hero overcomes typical obstacles and saves the commonfolk. But it's filled with great animation and a great energy.

They WAY oversimplified the counting cards system, it's a lot more complicated in real life. ANd that corrupt teacher was an asshole, and since I watched it on the airplane, they cut out the eh, sex scene (well, it was PG-13, so maybe just romping around on the bed). Well, at least it was kinda a happy ending, and the girl was pretty hot (that always gives an extra 1/10, I mean, that's the only reason I watch pearl harbor, lol, the girlw was Kate Bosworth btw).
Oh yeah, btw, the end was REALLY obvious. Once the security guard guy said that he knew Mickey Rosa, I knew what was coming, it was so friggin obvious. It was even more obvious when he showed Mickey up in the classroom, and then was basically crying to Jill because he lost everything. I mean, he wouldn't team up with the guy who stole his harvard med school money.
