Doomsday

4/10

The Movie had its nice little bits and they tried to avoid the Typical Virus and Zombies from Hell Theme, but sadly they did it wrong. Especially the Ending is just crap.

The Rock - 6/10
It's a great action blockbuster. I would have given it a 10 but unfortunately, the tv version is censored to the point of being unwatchably pathetic. It just removes any feeling of danger and urgency. The cuts were so tacky and unprofessional, it even gives the impression that some of the rogue Marines actually survived the fight.

Das Boot (The Boat) - an honest, meaningful 10/10.

The story of a German U-Boat crew during World War II, this is undoubtedly one of the finest films I have ever seen. I guarantee that this film will move you, no matter who you are or where you are in life, in a way few films can. I'm not going to give anything away, but you need to see this. I'll leave it at that.

A world in which leaders respect the rights of their people, and nations seek peace, not destruction or domination. And neither we nor anyone else should live in fear ever again." - Wesley Clark

Get Smart 9.5/10

Great comedy for Steve Carell. Max Smart is perfect. He is the perfect blend of Austin Powers and James Bond for he is neither a buffoon but he isn't perfect either. The jokes are a good blend of crude humor, wittiness and slapstick. I recommend.

6th Day- 8/10

Like ussualy Arnie does the acting quite good. The script could use some touchups for the nonsense in some parts but other than that its a good movie

The Hitcher 8 / 10

Don't know why so much People dislike that Movie, but I didn't. It even shocked me sometimes wich ain't happening often.

It was nicely done, and it kept you nervous till the very End. Especially the Police Fight Scene was nice.

Spoiler

Shaun of the Dead - 10/10
I love those British films. They always have this unique humour, that certain kind of irony
and wackiness, which you don't find in all that mainstream Hollywood bollocks these days.
Good show, chaps.

MIRRORS 8/10

Movie looked like a good horror film and well it didn't disappoint. The story was admittedly wonky at the end but it ended up being fun and had its occasional jump scares. Really good horror flick if your into them :dope:

Funny Games (2008)
3/10

This wasn't just not scary, it was boring. Half way I started to get sleepy from the lack of action. None of the characters are likable.

The Ruins
4/10

Another horror movie, this one had very little to fear. Not much suspense, just a lot of gore.

The Mummy 3
7.5/10

Better than I expected considering its the third sequel. The ending was disappointing and at some points you wonder why the hell the dragon emp. is so stupid.

Good to hear, I'm seeing it tomorrow night.

Get Smart: 5/10

Completely missed the humour of the original series. Not to mention plotholes, etc. Plot was identical to Johnny English.

3 Arnie movies:

Red Heat:8/10

Arnie as a russian cop killing killing bad guys and breaking their bones. This is a classic

6th day: 7/10

The movie was quite good. Acting was good (it could have been better), action scenes were just great.

Total Recall: 8/10

A oldie movie. The action was great (especially the scene where he used a hologram). The plot is a bit confusing but hey it is SF :D. Oh and the depiction of a mars colony shoudnt be judged as its quite old

Tropic Thunder

7/10

Fairly entertaining, not very many laugh out loud moments. Most of the humour comes from excessive swearing which kind of ruined it for me.

I swear I'm never getting excited about another Ben Stiller movie as long as I live.

You don't mess with the Zohan - 6/10
Immature and shallow as expected but there were some humourous stabs at the conflict in the Middle East which gave it a bit of a satirical character.

The Dark Knight - 10/10
Overwhelmingly positive critiques usually set off my scepticism-alert but this time, the film actually deserved the universal praise.
The best film I've seen in months; lots of famous faces, good acting, technically impressive, overall a job well done.

I can't add to that review in the slightest. QFT.
