Fuck! Why was I not informed of this operation? Bay of Pigs II- you have my full support. I had a battle group mustering in Florida, training for amphibious landings (lucky us, huh?) before departing to join the EFF. They're inbound. Once you have secured a beachhead, they will land and move to secure other regions of Cuba. With this shit going on, we have new orders- Take over Cuba. The secretary of homeland defense convinced the president (tho he's still against more deployment...)

EDIT:
No... the bacteria would be vaporized. Still an invasion is preferable

You do realize that if we blow up the missiles in-flight the bacteria will travel through the jet stream and be spread even farther, don't you? If we blow them up on the ground, the bacteria will spread amongst the Cuban population, and then to surrounding countries, and then the US. Invading Cuba is the only option. Tim is of the essence.

General Rayburn, is that means that if u are in the field, i command the Warsaw-line?
I think that u can ask general Thorn for some SpecOps support, this is his speciality.

Major Kid, this is Corporal Ghostrider, over.
I got three AC-130 Gunships sitting at USAFB Alpha-Romeo Niner, about 100 miles from your location. I'll send you them, but unless you have some AA, they're defenseless against air strikes. Raptors are unavailable in your area at the moment.

THe convoy had several tanks, and our scout team was unable to ambush them. Get some ATGMs set up at the launch site.

How does Russia have any of those antique missiles in the first place (I take it you mean SS-21 Scarab?)? We could use the missile defense laser/particle beam system to target the missiles on the ground and destroy them without collateral damage. We could also intercept the missiles in flight with the Boeing YAL-1 anti-missile aircraft.
The missiles don't belong to Russia. They're the GLA's. Only the bacteria were Russian.

The heat generated by a directed energy weapon would kill any living thing in the missile. Anyways, we have some aircraft/gunship and naval support off Cuba. We're using the Guantanamo bay naval base as a staging ground for the landing.
The 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade has been deployed to deal with the situation in Cuba. We've just landed and have taken care of most of the GLA forces surrounding the launch site with no problems, and we're now setting up a perimeter around the area so specialists can dismantle the ballistic missiles.
AWACS and spy sattelites have detected GLA armor and aircraft heading to our position. I've sent out some F/A-18E Super Hornets to deal with their MiGs and we have some AH-66 Comanches and F-45 UCAVs to take out the tanks, in addition to Javelin ATGMs, Spinner tank destroyers, M1A3s, and exosuit armor on the ground. M-777 howitzers and HIMARS are also present near Guantanamo to give artillery support, plus light mortars at the launch site.

Except that we've captured all of the GLA ballistic missiles in Cuba, and just took out the force sent to retake them. Looks like you're the one in trouble...

We have some Spectre gunships over the battlefield to give you some help to push back the Russians, just give them some target coordinates.

BAM! Those guys are toast. We also have Global Hawk and Reaper support too helping over there.

Well yea, aside from some air and naval support, supplies, and a few special forces units, the US isn't officially involved in Europe.

I'd hardly call "some Spectre gunships" not official support...
That's the stuff when you're actually in the EU, fighting.

Aye, my Spectres will do their job well... just don't get in the way. Anything within 30 meters of where they're targeting is done.

Ah, but the US used Spectre gunships when supporting Ethiopia's invasion of Somalia in 2006...it was a covert operation at the time and the US had initially denied deploying troops to the region IIRC.
