Except that the US pretty much owns the seas, so any attack on US forces in Africa via water may be...quite difficult.

What does Congress say about US involvement in Europe? If the Russians win there, the US could be next!

Update on "there are no patriots in Europe" here is an example in real world:

in "our" world, these missiles will be in charge by US Army during war, and as we "unofficially" provide military support, we would get those patriots to europe.

All remaining ECA personnel in Europe should regroup at preset locations, and hold out until US aid can arrive. We MUST retain what little strength we have in Europe. Those remaining on the front lines should move to evacuation zones immediately. ECA leadership has been shattered, but with US help, it is possible to recover lost positions. I am personally arranging supply drops and helivacs out of hostile areas. We shall redeploy out of our position in Africa when we are ready.

It dosen't matter, it's a Cluster Topol, if you kill it, it's clusters fall on you and anthrax is spread into the surrounding area. I will say that it's over East Africa.

Sorry, but the launch site was deep in Russia, given to us by our Russian friends.

All you have managed to due is damage the main warhead. Your bunker won't be penetrated, but everything above it will be dead.

In any case, we've vaporized the launch site in retaliation.
Fortunately the personnel at the South Africa base were able to get to safety, but nearby civilians were killed by the anthrax.
Congratulations! You've pissed off the US with your attack on one of their military base and it's pretty much guaranteed that they'll officially enter the war.
