Well, since I must break things down Barney-style, I was declaring my allegiance to the US Special Forces General in the midst of all this CCCP (oddly, since they're supposed to be Russian not Soviet) and ECU controversy.

EDIT: Gunnery Sergeant (E-7) is an enlisted rank in the United States Marine Corps.
