I decided to try out Contra and it didn't seem like my kind of game. I just wish I could uninstall it so I could reinstall Shockwave!

EDIT: Mods/admins can move this into another board if they feel like it.

You could just put Contra on Crosus saves time without having to unistall and you get to keep SHW.

(I'm assuming you have XP)

Anyway it should be either in C:\Program Files\EA Games\Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour <--- XP users

Find the files Contra.big ,new contra screen.(Delete those)

Reinstall SHW and it should work fine.

If, I remember right, to uninstall Contra, you need to locate The files Contra005.big, splash image, and the skirmish scripts, then you need to perform a repair from your zero hour disc. That's what I remember at least, I haven't played Contra for a while. The best advice, is to look in the readme. really all you need to get rid of is the big file, then you can play shockwave, but, you'll have some leftover contra stuff in your zero hour folder and in the game, but you'll be able to play shockwave. You'll need to get rid of the Scripts folder, so that Zero Hour AI will run right. But, you'll have to run the repair.
