So? In terms of how well the music and visual aspects blend together, which anime has or has had your favourite opening sequence.

Tough one. But I'd say my current favorite is Macross Frontier's. It's got that 500 million dollars budget special effects, in full high definition glory and it's a kick ass song too.

Spontaneously: Cowboy Bebop - I like the visual style and the music is good (considering that is do generally not like Jazz).

Ergo Proxy.

After that, It's Gungrave on the PS2.

Death Note 2nd Opening for me, after that would be Naruto Shippuden 1st Opening.

The first Gurren-Lagann OP. Probably the first J-pop song I liked. Code Geass R2 has a nice opening too, if only because it's so cheesy.

I always really liked the intro movie from the Gundam Wing series - i thought that was really good.

GITS: Stand Alone Complex Opening : It wasn't until recently (since I started studying Russian) that I found out that the lyrics to this song are mostly in Russian. Awesome!

Outlaw Star Opening : that song just grew on me...Outlaw Star kicks ass.
