Freedom's just one of them. I'm not looking forward to it. The only difference is, Oleg can actually voice/render his opinion. All I can do is type words. D:

I am looking forward to it as long as there aren't hundreds of Mechs because I hate them.
That Japanese Mech is just " tacky ".

Being a critic is pretty easy
When you're an expert in a certain field you risk becoming over-censorious - goes with the territory, I guess.
It just becomes an annoyance to eveyone else when these people focus on the negatives and remind you every time they see a hashed pixel.

the japan mech "made in china" looks like cheap toy i mean that even meches they cannot make. they seriusly need to take some free lancers to make that game better
now about the game i am waiting for that only becouse the nex reson:
from what i see now its a modifyed KW engine with some extra small engines (water etc....) and it can hold much more polys per unit and also its will have anther modding more easy one like generals have (know that thanks to chrizz) they using place holders (like G)
after EA wil relase that game the moders will show them from where the squirrel is craping and pissing and how to make games right
BTW guys there is a big chanse that i will go to holand to study game design :]

If EA spent the time making exceptionally good games then no one would move on to buy their next shiney new product that fixes all the bad things in the previous title, and so on ad infinitum.
I'll admit it, though, with Red Alert 3 they have me hooked.
I like the new gameplay dynamic of base building on water - and water will feature heavily in this game. You can't knock them for innovating. Another thing I like about Red Alert 3 is the power of creative freedom they've been given. It's like they have been handed a clean slate to work with.
Tiberium universe games are much more restrictive in that we come to expect them to have the same iconic units and resource.
In Red Alert 3 they've changed the resource gathering system to one that seems to be in a controlled environment - and my guess - more strictly measured, like Generals.
I think they are taking things on board after the lessons they learned with C&C 3 - things which will ultimately benefit this game. You only have to look at the new scaffolding build system, resource collection points, single infantry, and the promise of secondary abilities that promote skill and have micro potential to see that. These were things C&C 3 itself was lacking. It was too simplistic.
I don't like to wish my life away - being almost over the hill now
- but I cannot wait to get my hands on this game.
I seriously believe Red Alert 3 will save the C&C series once again after a poor Tiberium offering as Red Alert 2 did before it.

I'm chipping in with Stinger here. I just like what I see to much to ignore it. However I still eagerly await the demo for my final opinion.

So, Freedom, is there anything you like at all or do you spend more time modding games than playing them?

We're still five months away from the release so there's quite some time remaining to add the necessary spit and polish.

Well, heres the mech of the japanes

And some news
German fansites posted even more infos to RA3 today. See a summary below!
-There are no separate harvesters, the only model works both in water and on land
-The mask seen on Japanese concepts is not the logo
-No subfactions/epic units/world domination in the main game
-Intro/Outro/Win/Defeat CGI movies are back, the general budget for CGI movies is much higher
-There could be civilians if performance impact won't be too high
-Music is inspired by RA2, the TW composers are not coming back. There will be some remixes, too
-Co-op is possibly playable in Lan as well
-The Century bomber drops paratroopers
