Population : 590,000+
Commercial Jobs: 250,000+
Industrial: 30,000+ (The majour industrial centers is on a neighbouring City)

About the traffic, The grid's was so effective that i have no traffic jams except in those un-organized streets i added for lulz :dope:. I'm actually trying to get traffic jams so the commercial demand rises. ;)

Nice city.

I actually remember Sim City 2000 when I fisrt played it at a friends house. I was pretty blown away. SO much so I decided to start adding pipes to every single building that needed it(i mean every inch of each one). ANd I do have 3000 laying somewhere in this room. I "borrowed" 4000 from mr Internet and I like that one too. But I dont know which one to go with. Probably 4 purely because of the new stuff they have and cause I cant remember 2000 that well.

Societies looks too different to try out.

I loved SC4. I had one region with over 40 million people. huge swathes of industrial buildings. Area's that simply consisted of a massive buisiness district with dual highways, all interlinked by highways, trains the lot. Each city having its own subway system. The main city was called "Canyon Creek" I think.. It was on the largest tile you could build on with a river zigzagging through the map and mountains seperated the city into 3 main sections. Sadly my saves and all the data were lost when my hard-drive fucked itself. I got quite into modding that as well, messing around with BAT ect. I brought back arcologies - but on a smaller scale from SC2000. I loved arcologies in SC2000 and the monster disaster was awesome as well.

Shame the pictures are gone as well, it was quite a sight :(

Oh, Sim City!

First one I played was Sim City 2000 on the SNES. Instantly fell in love with it, back then I was scared of that big black Monster. 8|

But the game that also brought me into the Series: Sim Town. I loved that Dark Blue House.

What I miss in Sim City 4 is the Conversations you could have in Sim City 3000. " Call Cousin Vinnie " Was funny.
I definatley prefer Sim City 4 though.

I didn't know you could get an Area 5.1 though! :wtfh:

Also, Sim City Societies sucked. I actually never wanted to play it untill I read somewhere that you could get Men In Black. Tried it, uninstalled it after 1 Hour. I maybe had 1 M.I.B., but it didn't interesst me anymore.

Societies wasn't made by maxis, some other company developed it. Shame really, I was looking forward to SC5.

Edit : Companys name was " Tilted Mill Entertainment "Congrats TM You ruined a legacy. The only reason it was called Simcity was to draw people in. And now the poor simcity franchise has to make do with you, its buggy, boring new brother.

I played SimCity 3000, and I liked it. When I saw in a magazine that there was SimCity 4, I immediatly bought it, and I liked it even more. But no way I'm touching SimCity Societies, not even with a 10 foot pole :weekend:

I actually spent more time in SC4 making the environment then making cities. :weekend:
I did also like how you could have a whole continent and have all your cities inter-connect to each other.

This Thread made me want to play it again ...

Maybe I should do so and post some Screens of my Industrial World!
Or I could try Sim City 2000 on a SNES Emulator. :weekend:

I've played them all except Societies, and I have to say SC2000 with the SimCopter expansion is the best.

Ftw. Though I guess I can't say, since I've only played SC2000.
