i dont find it to be that wild... just seems like downright harmless fun. i dont understand why everyones being so tight-assed about the new crazy units, what's wrong with a bit of humour and non-realism? maybe you've grown out of it due to all those hyper-realistic games lately... well, i must say i have played cartoony games longer than any "realistic" game whatsoever, it just doesnt seem to get dull like the realistic ones.

If red alert 3 is about realistic then it wont be red alert.... Besides I don't care how it looks, as long as red alert is back :pnd:

Exactly. At least, not a successor to RA2 anyway. I've never played the original, but I do know it wasn't exactly realistic, though it may have been rather more so than RA2 (no 'crazy' tech, though the Tesla Coils is a bit over-the-top to be considered exactly sensible).

A world in which leaders respect the rights of their people, and nations seek peace, not destruction or domination. And neither we nor anyone else should live in fear ever again." - Wesley Clark

QFT. Best example for me would be the Ratchet & Clank series on Playstation. It's totally out there but so much fun.

From the original Red Alert in '95 ('96 when it arrived in Philippine shores) to Red Alert 3, still a Red.
