Can anyone tell me what was the first XI for France in that match?
And yay to the champions-to-be.

And guess what? The next match will be the most epic battle for survival we'll ever witness for years to come. France vs Italy. The winners will advance at the expense of Romania IF they don't win against Holland.
The next thing I expect to happen is the Dutchies losing to Romania just for the lulz.

I don't know about that, Waris, football's a funny old game.
I have heard matches touted similarly before. With so much at stake both teams will play nervous, defensive systems.

I do feel it's going to be a tight one, although the whole France vs Italy all over again gonna take away the shine a bit.

Indeed - they've cemented their place at the top with only two games gone - doubt that happens often - and with such an awesome game - was a great spectacle from a neutral position.

Me too - I reckon, if it is possible, a final between them and Portugal who are also doing well. Dutch to win tho.

No idea on the first XI - as i guess it was another of ol' Domenech's play it by the stars system - useless of course.
AS for the Dutch with the Romanians - why not send out a weakened squad - it's only Romania and they can rest/prevent bookings of key players - and at the same time knock France and Italy out of the competition by losing.

I'm going for France - if they get Henry out from the start I reckon he'll poach one on about 43 minutes, France to shut up shop and concede one, and then for France to get the late late winner on a counter-attack....

I said Line Judge, not ref, and you should review that goal, from the lines man perspective... and OFCOURSE a second later such things look like they are offside, as that is what every forward wants to achieve... not?
This was a pure mistake which had heavy consequences and I blame that stupid linesman for it.
