@ JB - I wasn't really going for edited version as i wanted to see how much i could get them to look like the originals. If i was going to put them in a mod then i might edit it. Also, please feel free to post that wireframe diagram.
Cheers for all the comments.

More than fair enough. As I said, they're certainly that, and extremely effectively too.

Here's the Prism Tower wireframe schematic:
I wish the image was better quality so I could see what the text says. I have another wireframe one of the Apocalypse Tank (it was from the briefing video for that absolute sod of a mission where you have to defend a Soviet outpost in the Ural Mountains) and I can just make out one of the 'technical comments'; it says 'This handle has no purpose in life. It's just there for show. Seriously I'm not kidding you'! The Prism Tower ones would probably be equally amusing... but sadly there's no way I can make any of it out.

Also, here's a cinematic shot of the Chronosphere, with a powerplant in the background, if you had any intentions to do one of those:
I have ones of the Nuclear Missile and Weather Controller as well if you have any use for those.

You killed the other Prism tower pic so i can't compare D:
But going on what i remember (not much ) the pipes/bars look good, it makes it look like it needs extra support as its so powerful.

I can see how this might be a tank but in fairness it looks like something the Tau would use.
Nice model anyway MBob!!

It's certainly nice but it retains the thing that always bugged me about the Fatboy, which is the turret positioning. While having them over the tracks looks great and in fact also provides the giant tracks with some protection, IMO the plates the turrets sit on could do with being quite a bit thicker. It's purely a practical concern (flimsy, unable to absorb recoil, no space for ammunition supply linkage et cetera), so feel free to disregard it for the rather more important aesthetic concerns, but my brain is strange that way.
Is the scale similarly monstrous when compared to its progenitor?

A WiP of my version of the Tri-Pod for Freedom's modeling contest - http://forums.cncsoc...read.php?p=1602
Just remember this isn't finished and doesn't even have a cockpit yet.

Oh boy! That tri-version of the Soviet plant is sweet.
Just to trough an idea out there, how about an upgrade peice of some sort of shielding or protection? Builds on to on the connector's roof?
Anyway, Is that model and your Tri-Pod going to be released to the public at some future point?
[edit] typos fixed, going blind it seems. heh
Sucks I have to proof read my fanfic chapters like 7 times minimum before I post...

The organic-form units are surely the hardest of all to get looking right, and that does it perfectly. Fantastic work, and I'd say you're definitely in with a shot!
Edit: Bleh, forums on the brain.

Looking lovely. I'd be very interested in seeing it skinned - is this ever likely to happen?

Not by me
If anyone would like to volunteer I'd be more than happy to let them try

And what a final version it is mate. Should be a wicked thing in-game, given the chance. The name "Hydra" sounds mean, but might give the commander false hope, should he expect it to sport two weapons for every one lost.
