1. Laser designator which calls in airstrike RA2 style. (unoriginal but whatever)
2. Some very effective molotov cocktail made from vodka bottles.
3. Can swim?
Just throwing around ideas.

He carry's a AK47 and has a Rage mode which lasts for 10 seconds where he has extra power vs everything but is not stealthed.

Stealth without weapons.
have 3 special powers :
1 Air support
2 Para drop ( infantry )
3 Demoralization (enemy range and fire rate -50% )
The field commander in my way is a different idea from other mods.
Please if you have ideas to expand mine share with me.

This is probably one of the better ideas I have seen, his Air Support would require careful balancing, perhaps an offscreen aircraft can be used to destroy tanks (costs money for each run), the same for the Paradrop?

I can't think of a good Russian female name.
Armed with: SVD Sniper Rifle(Anti-Infantry) and RPG-7(Anti-Tank, Anti-Structure and maybe Anti-Air)
Special Abilities: Artillery Strike Beacon(Place a beacon anywhere on the map and a few seconds later a small artillery barrage bombards the target area. Can destroy weak buildings like barracks and power planets in one hit, but anything above will survive), Remove Explosives(Places an explosive charge on any enemy or neutral structure and vehicle that is remotely detonated).

As far as im concerned I would rather not see any heroes at all... however i do like idea of an field commander (hell why not make all heroes commanders)
As Dauth said Air abilities do need to be balanced. I say the paradrop doesnt bring you more than a group of Soldiers and air support should be either big area but alot less damage or big damage and a small area
EDIT- btw id rather see the commander raising the morale of his soldiers than demoralising the opposition (this makes more sense in realism if you ask me)

The air strike will be group of 3 fighters dropping bombs not firing missiles. This will make the planes more vulnerable to anti air. Also the damage will be medium and damage radius is small. ( countdown time 3min)
The para drop will call one Mi-26 Halo with 8 infantry ( 5 conscript 2 RPG trooper and one sniper) (countdown time 4min)
The demoralize ability will be available after learn science point. the range of effect will be small. (countdown time 2min) this will make the game more dynamic and balanced instead of demoralize enemy in great radius and for great time of effect but more countdown time. With small effect radius and small time of effect the enemies will only help you to win some small battles not entire war.
My ideas for this mod is to degrease powers of the super weapons and abilities. They are only support stuff not main power. They still be strong but you need to use your own force to defeat your opponent.

Now idk how powerfull a sniper will be (actually the question is does he really use a sniper or a DMR) but I think taht paradroping a sniper may be a bit unbalanced.
And is still think moralising your troops is better than demoralisation of the opposition but hey its just my opinion
