We should get a RA3 beta skirmish going.

I personally think that would be fun. I haven't had a chance to play it until now and it's multiplayer only (I don't think the patch for offline play works with the latest updates).

I asked about this in the "Open Beta" thread but no one apparently read that part of the post and then it just degenerated into a flame war for some reason, so that's why there's a new thread.

I would but I got the sandbox mod installed and I'm not sure if I can be arsed to reinstall the beta.

If you backed up the 1.5 files then youdon't need to reinstall. (Or you could just DL 1.5 again)

AFAIK the sandbox mod doesn't prevent you from playing online. I remember it having a disable option and it gets broken once you update RA3 anyways (But the game still works)...

Edit: There might be more than one sandbox mod, though.

This is a gratuitous bump to say: Yayyy!

I'd love to see more people though.

So far it's Lizzie, Nem, and Myself. I was thinking probably some time around 6 or 7pm Eastern time, if that was ok with everyone? Probably some day this week?


Nick is Logical2u, I imagine we can't use hamaichi so we'll have to figure out a quiet room or something. If someone more acquainted with the lobby system for online play could help out that would be great - as I said my first post, I never actually played a game of RA3 yet. >.>
