'N the old days people could just use the busy status to avoid being talked to, but the feature has been abused and now it means nothing.

I am probably searching for someone to chat to.

Busy: People seem to ignore it because I am nonstop on Busy. But then don't be pissed incase I don't reply, because I am simply -Busy-.
Away: No sense in contacting me then. I use this very rarerly to also fake my Status when I just got N00bSpammed. :(
On the Phone: This is the Peoples favourite, because I am AFK for like, Hours.

Gaming: What it means. I am gaming, when it's a serious Game I won't reply, else I might.
Offline: Stop writing me stuff when I am offline!
Stealth Mode: No, you did not just find out that I am hiding, and incase you ever did, I will never let you know.
MSN = Serious Business.

EDIT: Oh and, if you ever see me using Default MSN Smileys, I am drunk.
I just hate those things and never use them.

Busy: I'm doing stuff on the computer and don't want to be disturbed unless it's important. Generaly either gaming or watching anime.
Away: I'm out doing stuff. Probably planning to kill you.
BRB: The poor bastard I'm keeping in the basement tied to a chair needs to be fed again, so I must feed him.
Out to lunch: I'm eating.
In a call: Never use this one. I hate phones.
Appear Offline: Don't want to be bothered.

Away = I have a real life, f*** off

On the phone = I am actually on the phone, so f*** off
BRB = I am not coming back, go f*** yourself
Online = I am watching some Johnny Vaughan, I am f***ing myself

Away = Buggered off somewhere and forgot to turn the PC off. Inevitably bothered.
Busy = Playing a game/photoshopping etc. Inevitably bothered.
BRB = When did I ever last use this?
In A Call = Used once and found I wasn't bothered. Used more frequently now. <---holy grail of all untarnished statuses
Out to lunch = What it says on the tin/can/yoghurt pot. ALWAYS bothered.
Offline = Generally hiding form someone but mostly I have a life so don't bother at this time. Inevitably picks up later messages.
MSN = Inevitable.

Away = Outside home.
Busy = Always.
BRB = Never.
In A Call = Never
Out to lunch = Never.
Offline = Offline.
I have very few people in my MSN, I regularly delete people without interest, so there are only people who know me well and know that I can take time to respond since I'm still busy.

Online: I used this status about four years ago.
Busy: This is the one that I use 95% of the time when I am online. I could be gaming or trying to annoy Thez. If I don't reply, then the chances are that I have at least six convo windows open, and seeing as I have a cut off point at four, I will not respond. You simply cannot have a meaningful conversation with more than two max.
BRB: I don't often change my status to indicate that I will be right back. I prefer to sneak off. Comr4de knows about this all too well - and vice versa.

Offline: Means just that. Sometimes I might use this if I want to sneak up on Hunter or Thez to get the first word in.

Busy: Doing uni work that seriously needs to get done
Appear Offline: Someone's online I don't want to talk to
Offline: At work / sleeping / travelling to uni / doing something interesting
