No, it doesn't involve about alpha channels. I edited a Ranger and gave it a new rifle along with it's capture animation which includes the new rifle so it won't revert back to their stick rifles. But when I build it, it's invisible, as in nothing but dust trails walking. What usually causes this and how can I fix this in RenX?
I'd be happy to send my edited Ranger if anyone can check this out for me.
Thanks,
Indigo

Did you eventually rename the .w3d you´ve exported from RenX? Say like when you exported it you named it "NEWRNGR.w3d" (or whatever) and then changed the filename to "AIRNGR_skn.w3d".
This is the mein reason something like this happened to me, as the modelnames in the INIs don´t seem to refer to the filename itself but moreover to an objectname included in the files.

Yes, I make sure the exact renamed filename is in the INI code as well. I guess this somehow related to RenX? But I don't understand, I made other infantry with new rifles and they just sometimes don't appear. :(
I'm using Coolfile's w3d import btw.

Is this really necessary? Always thought it was just to make it easier to find a special unit´s texture.
