Temporarily down due to the mass of people trying to get it :P

Running it atm and I'm pretty impressed, I wouldn't say it's all that much quicker for me but it does use less system resources. The new taskbar is awesome.

Seems to work without a key? I'm camping the site until they're giving them out though.

Edit: I LOVE THIS OPERATING SYSTEM.

Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal -- we’re in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We’re sorry for the delay and we’ll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience.

got it running on my new LG X110 netbook and its runs pretty good. No lag at all. Installed Windows 7 using a flash drive. All the drivers were detected on it own except for the wifi but windows update had that so no issues at that. Aero is working.

Config of my test system
Intel Atom 1.6 ghz
1 gig ram
160 gb HDD
Intel 945 graphics chipset

64 bit running flawlessly on my new laptop

2.0Ghz Core2Duo
2 Gigs ram
250GB HDD
Intel 4 chipset

The new taskbar is the best idea Microsoft has had since forever.

Drivers were a little harder to get working because Toshiba had to go and be different and make their own drivers for everything. The Action Center found better drivers for my fingerprint reader (Direct download link) which really impressed me... It's like they actually thought about this one.

Good question... was it possible to upgrade from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit Vista?

Just did a clean install on my old laptop with 32 bit Win7, one windows update later all the drivers are installed and working.

That's freaking impressive if you ask me.
