That is true, I (Christian) also think of the Bible as being divinely inspired. But that's another discussion.

@pirate: do you realize, there are excavations of buildings older than 10 000 years (in Middle East), remembering the original face of Cairo Lion (later Sphinx)? Or giant blocks of stone weighing around 50 tons in Macchu Picchu (and said blocks are supposed to have different chemical composition than surrounding rock). According to legends, teachers of their creators arrived from the sunken continent Mu (Pacific Atlantis). Nobody knows how much of this story is based on truth yet still, there are tunnels and megalitic structures of some pre-Inca civilization in South America. The rest stands on the thin ice of rumours.
