Yeah, it's a reference to the fact that those µ=%£ù^$ù from the postal service or other delivery companies never bother with knocking on your door, and just leave that note instead.
The only time I managed to get a package from these idiots without having to go to the post office was when I happened to be outside when the delivery guy arrived. The funniest (:xD:) thing was that he was barely getting out from his car, and yet had already prepared the "Sorry we missed you" note...

Amen to that. That said, waiting for a delivery today (not Black Ops), it arrived at 16:45, and was immediately delivered to the office, which shut two minutes later. Interestingly, I addressed it to me, not to 'The Office', and now the office is shut and I can't get it until tomorrow. Bastards.

The first map reminds me most of some of the levels in Goldeneye, and in Timesplitters 2. I miss those days :(
