Autoaxe, Autoaxe, Autoaxe. :P

After Anchorage, my expectations arnt exactly high. Depending on the reviews, I might just wait for Brotherhood of Steel.

Edit: And please dont make it only availible through Windows live. Please!

oh boy oh boy, I can't wait for this. Operation Anchorage transformed me. In my first profile I was a Rombo-Jesus, just missile-launchering into enemy bases. Now in my second profile I'm a Ninja-crusader and have like 82 sneak and crazy amounts of crit and sneak attack bonuses; I can basically walk up to people and attack them, and if they haven't died, they still can't attack me cause they can't see me. :P

Can't wait to see what the Pitt (and eventually Broken Steel) brings to the Capital Wasteland.

Same here.

Here some new fetaures "The Pitt" :P

New locations: The Pitt

New weapons: AutoAxe & Infiltrator

New armor: Red Raider Armor

Three new perks: Auto Axpert, Booster Shot, and Added Radiation Resistance

New cretures: Trogs

And Four achievements worth 100 points. Which means are 4 new quests.

What's the Infiltrator, I haven't heard anything about that yet.

Wow, 3 perks, that's pretty swell. From the sound of it, The Pitt is bigger than Operation Anchorage. (Although Operation Anchorage felt smaller due to the simulation aspect of it.)

Huzzah! More Fallout 3 related goodnness!

Pretty meh interview though, revealed diddly-squat. Although I do like the fact that they started making Broken Steel after Fallout 3 was out, hopefully they can improve the game with the bunch of feedback.

They did say they'd change the ending though which is interesting.

Especially since they said you could use your companions to get out of the ending, since some people on here suggested that. Perhaps they've paid a visit? ;D

In the Broken Steel, yes. It will continue main quests before finish game and can see better ending.

It also can raise max Level up 30, new improve A.I. enemies(including new Enclaves and high level ghouls), new power armor, and more. :dope:

Since it's already a dialogue option I doubt that with 99.9% certainty and would bet money on it. It was the logical next progression given the feedback and possibly something they were going to explore anyway knowing it would make a strong selling point.

It's common knowledge that nearly everyone who finished the game had some kind of FFFFFF shindig going off in their head after bethesda actually went out of their way to script all the companions who COULD

of activated the purifier to essentially go STFU/destiny. I think Stinger has hit right on the money, it would give BS a surefire way to get more sales by having a expansion that introduces a lot of important/improved mechanics to merge flawlessly with the game, something that mods have no guarantee of. Of course, until then I'll enjoy my level 34 character Jake Asskicker who's packed to the rafters with mods.

yep, and i am one of the lucky persons who didnt get any problem at all (if you dont count a simple texture error than can be fixed by equiping the autoaxe again)

the quest is very linear and a little in the short side, but you can end it in two ways, the pitt only has a normal shop as far as i found, but the map is actually big, the city looks awesome, there is a lot of new armors
Spoiler
, and you have the quest of getting the 100 steel bars after the end of the quest(when you get some number of bars the quest guy give you some items), weapons only are two new(the autoaxe and the infiltrator) plus some uniques using the same models as before

the trog are fast and have a jump attack, but they are weak
you can see a lot of mutation and skin burns in many characters to many different degreeds of severity, one raider chick wanted to throw me to the river because i told her some of my best friends were ghouls D:

i got it today, and so far i enjoy it more than Operation Anchorage, the new weapons and armor are good, the quests are cool too, there is a very large area to explore, but to be honest the Hole was a little anti-climactic, i beat all 3 fights by just rushing in with the man opener and letting them have it.

And the Deathclaw Gauntlet made the rest way too easy. Overall it was a enjoyable DLC. A little short though. But you can get a load of items if you get the Ingots e.g. The Perforator, Metal Blaster Tribal Power Armour etc.

amazin's Photo amazin 27 Mar 2009

yea there is much more unique loot to be had this time around

and you gotta love the autoaxe =P

I picked it up and finished it in about 4 hours spread across the day. True to their word, it lasted about as long as anchorage although it was less generic and more what I expected from BS. Good all-round, the two choices at the end were rather morally ambiguous, I found that both of them had good and bad mixed in but since one of them looked like a pirate and snuck in a "arr" once in awhile in combat, I gave him a terminally shocking sensation with my trusty sword.
