HOLY FUCKING SHIT - I JUST SHAT AN IRON GIRDER.
I saw the following:
-player is holding a SCAR-H assault rifle at the start with a 20-round magazine
-yup, riot shields - they look as if they stay in front of you permanently
-CTF gametype
-bloody hand team?
-screen to indicate who you killed which sport a personal motto and what seem to be avatars (also after kill streaks by enemies)
-weapon pickup: "SCAR-H bling" & "Steyr AUG HBAR bling" probably a "bling" skin
-airstrike is back
-3-kill streak = UAV
-weapon pickup: HK MP5K (YYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAH) though a really crazy variant of it with an old trigger group but very modern RIS/RAS-style look
-4-kill streak = airdrop
-5-kill streak = predator missile
-weapon pickup: "TAR-21 FMJ"
-USP .45 is back
-equipment: throwing knife (possibly a perk)

Killstreaks are customizeable, so we still have to see how that works. Also- TAR-21? Finally a TAVOR in video games?

I've said this before and I'll say it again, I don't think I've looked forward to a game as much as this and the latest CTF mode hasn't helped
It's quite refreshing to see a game that has come in for almost no criticism pre-release.

I just got a feeling there's gonna be nowhere near the amount of team co-operation in the PC version of the game. Call of Duty 4 on PC is largely devoid of any microphone chatter.

HD Footage for every little detail. Gotta say those splatter effects are the best the gaming industry has ever been blessed with. Excellent work Infinity for not thinking its ok to have the screen turn red when you take damage.

Apologies, I didn't play any of those games. Still, this is probably the first mass appeal game to have it, which is actually a little surprising considering how high tech it looks. I'm just hoping they'll put the MARS on it the way it should... but I know it won't.

Well in CoD4 they managed to glue a ACOG on a G3 without any rails...hell they actually managed to put a ACOG on a Scorpion
basically having realistic attachments on weapons is a bit doubtful

Yes, the ACOG's on rail-less guns and the '203s on AK's, G36's, etc. I mean, it would be nice to just have the same effects, but a different graphic (maybe even different crosshair) to make it match up to RS. I doubt it, though.

GT analysis vid - though they didn't find exactly everything, they found one or two things we hadn't noticed yet (and the comments mention some too):
-"bloody hand faction" may be clan logo
-the SCAR-H has "Infinity Ward, USA" stamped on the side
-mixed faction teams? (two different kinds of people on bloody hand team)
-guy at the bottom of the stairs gets killed by a shield - this is verified by the obituaries
-local radar jammer confirmed - when 402 gets killed the player's radar is instantly brought back online
-I also happened to see an RPD lying on the ground near the start

New details on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's custom killstreaks have emerged, via the hands-on preview in the latest issue of PSM3 Magazine.
Unlike the last game - which rewarded players with only satellites, air strikes and attack choppers for chaining kills - Modern Warfare 2 will let you mix and match rewards to fit your skill, as shown in the previously-released video below.
Community man Robert Bowling offered PSM3 a bit more info: "You can have a three killstreak or a fifteen killstreak if you want, or something like the AC-130 [firing down in black and white from an airborne gunship] is one of the highest killstreaks you can select," he said.
"You take control of that and can fire down for thirty seconds, blow guys up," he so subtly put it.
As such, this means that new MW2 players can enter the fray with rewards associated with smaller strings of kills, while veterans can stick with the high-end goodies for pummelling down pain on the battlefield, says the mag.
Sounds good to us, we just hope there's something absolutely mental available - like the GoldenEye satellite or a bloody Metal Gear - for those who fancy opting to chain together a gargantuan number of kills (say, 50).

Not sure how this'll work with an AC-130 after 3 kills?

My guess is that the AC-130 will always be a 11-streak reward. UAV will always be available at 3; Airstrike at 5, ...
You can however choose which ones you want and therefore choose at which number of kills you get a reward.
So a real pro would choose (if unlocked) the real powerful ones at higher numbers, while a noob who doesn't ever get more than 5 kills would choose the ones at 3, 4 and 5.
