Yeah that nuke needs loads of work, but I have time :P
Usually when I'm making my nukes, I'm not finnishing them till the end.
I'm leaving them unfinnished, and then after about 2 weeks I'm looking what can I add.
There's nothing worse, than relasing *finnished* particle, and then realising, that I could add something more.

though the little yellow clouds that come out at first look really, really unrealistic.

These particles are amazing,
but i suggest to replace the jet engine flame FX with a new heat fume effect,i hope the current effect is just a placeholder.

Those yellow little clouds are called fire in this case :duh:
Nah, I like this jet flame/smoke as it is :P

that is really awesome :D, the only point with this and most of your other particle systems, is that the weapons are way to OP to be used in any more or less serious mod :)

Actually many of them are in Blitzkrieg 2.
Like Dora shell explosion, V2 missile detonation, Nuke, Grandslam.

He means that shots would surely destroy anything in one shot and would therefore be unsuitable for most sane mods :)
However, that FX is DAMN AWESOME!

The recent batch of FX look great failure.

I'm glad to see that you haven't stopped making them.

I'm looking forward to seeing more if you continue making them.

@ Pirate and Mbob: Acually I guess the FX could be used in a sane mod, they'd look insanely damaging but only do moderate damage, depending on what fired them. (Of course that might look quite odd). :)

I had problems with clipping smoke throught flares.
And for some reason in zero hour I can't delay smoke's alpha for more than 100 miliseconds.

My only thing would be that because of the see-thoughishness of the cloud.. well... it kinda looks like a Jellyfish at some points :P

Nice boom effect. I like the way you make the final explosion, clouds and glow ring afterwards are just a little suprise for players, nice unique addition. Comparing this effect to "so-usual", lame explosion FXs without any such pep pill, I really like the design of your Neutron Bomb effect. :P

I've tried to create those condensation rings like in my neutron bomb. But I couldn't use the neutron bomb wave texture, since it likes to clip with smoke particles which are used in this nuke. That's why I had to improvise.

Wow, this looks awesome. Could you show it from further away please, to see the full effect?

I think there are less comments cause your particles have reached a border. They can't get any better.

If you really want credit for your hard work, you should release some of these.
I would love to see your effects in mods (mostly in mine |8 )

Well dude I always do like your effects but I try to avoid simple +1 style posts. I guess I'll try to come up with more contructive comments at least.

And regarding your latest particle system, once again your OTT style simply blows me away! the delayed explosion is really cool though if this is like the Neutron bomb in Shockwave it probably shouldn't blast units away. Though I can imagine this will be used ine a more destructive version of said weapon :read:

Yes, I'm basically making those fx's by requests from mod teams so the weapon is basically a moab or daisy, but all about showing of the effect |8
Well, my plan is that when my personal mod is complete, I'd relase it and every nice particle separately, so people won't have to download the mod and rip the wanted particles :read:

Oh, and this effect is pretty much 100% shown in this video, I've made it to match 390 - 750 camera's.

If any of you is interested in particles, why you aren't on my msn list yet?
Those particles are not top secret and for personal use only ;)
And they always can get better |8
They are never perfect for me atleast hehe!
