in the making for several months, and is now finally revealed.
What is it? RA3: NWO is a total conversion mod set in the 2030’s bringing 3 sides, with 2 sub-factions each. They are the pacific coalition comprising of the USA and South Korea, the Sino-Korea pact; consisting of China and North Korea, and lastly, the Russia-CIS alliance; made up of Russia and CIS.

Members are: AZZKIKR (leader, founder and modeller)
CommanderJB (consultant and lore creator)
Mbob61 (modeller)
AJ (graphic artist)

Who we need: We need coders, modellers, skinners and all those who are familiar with Red Alert 3.

And you thought our first update is all talk, we introduce, the monsters of NWO
Well, here you are; the first ever rendered model.
“The Russians had these principles to pick up the best type of machine wherever they could get it; to have only very few types; to construct the type as simply as possible; and then to produce these types in large quantities”
- General Fridolin Senger und Etterlin, commander of the 17th Panzer Division in the winter of 1942-43.

T-125 behemoth
Dimensions: 13.16m long, 6.44 m wide, 4.4 m high. 16.34m long with gun
Weight: 89,000 kilograms
Armour: Classified
With a name like “behemoth”, the Russian super heavy tank developed by the Omsk machine plant is a terrifying weapons platform; and is the largest ever production heavy tank ever created, and no other equivalent has been fielded by any other faction in the length of the war. This monstrosity of a machine is armed with a powerful 152mm main gun, which fires a 60kg armour-piercing shell to engage enemy armour. Additionally, it is armed with a rapid-firing coaxial 30mm cannon, 8 turret-mounted anti-surface missiles, and a commander controlled 14.5mm heavy machine gun. This makes the T-125 Behemoth a feared weapon on the battlefield given its ability to engage a wide spectrum of targets. The crumbling of soil underneath the Behemoth’s hooked threads is enough to send shivers down the spine of even a veteran of warfare, be they American or Chinese. They know that they would have to employ all their resources to knock it out. In fact, the Behemoth would usually turn out victorious, as its heavy armour is almost impenetrable to most conventional weapons.
However, the fact that the turret makes up around 25% of the weight of the tank, means that the turret revolves slowly. This weakness is usually exploited by brave operators of light tanks, who would usually rush up to the rear of the behemoth and attack it’s slightly weaker back armour.
The Behemoth is now a vital tool is Russia’s propaganda efforts. Pictures of it slamming through walls in mass divisions bringing down everything are enough to evoke a sense of patriotism, while slamming through structures. This unusual method of slamming targets was actually devised by tank commander Nikolai Badanov, who led his team against enemy M1A5s on the Russia-German border. Although numerically inferior, he was said to relay all the energy from the weapon to the propulsion system, drastically increasing the speed of the Behemoth. In fact, the sheer weight of the tank is said, in the story, to be capable of destroying tanks in a hit, and that was reportedly happened. As the M1A5s travelled in a line, Badanov ambushed the team and managed to destroy all of them. In fact, apparently, the behemoth’s armour can stop bullets, rockets and even vehicle hulls. Badanov’s act of heroism has been repeated many times, either to retreat or to crush their way through a stubborn defence line.
The 15-layer titanium armour, heavy weaponry makes the Behemoth incredibly expensive, and slow. Nonetheless, the Behemoth is the strength of the Russian army, for it is usually compared to the German WW2 Tiger 2, one capable of destroying many opponents before being destroyed itself.

We hope this is one of many updates.

No offence, but if you claim that this has been in production for a quarter of a year, yet only show one model you cannot expect people to just sign up out of the blue.

You really need to show more content before you can expect people to get up and join.

This is the only rendered model; much of Azzkikr's art thread will make its way in as well, but Mbob was only recently asked to help him out with the actual presentation. The render format is far from final as well; I understand a banner is in the making, which will be applied in future.

If there isn't enough content to show, delay the announcement.

Simple as that.

Alias it's not up to you to decide when a mod announces it's intentions and if you're not prepared to "sign up" then don't.

I'm saying from the general consensus that I've seen from this forum over the years, that the turnover of applications will be minimal if any with so little to show.

And I am asking that you let people make that judgement for themselves. We don't need to be told whether the community will support something or not even if you think there isn't enough material to convince you.

Good luck with the mod chaps. The tank looks beastly, which is always a good thing and it looks like you have the right idea, moving away from the comic theme of RA3.

Don't see what's wrong about giving feedback for someone's presentation and not only his work. It is very important to prove competence if one is to recruit skilled people, so giving people hints that they should consider improving this seems prudent.

*reserves judgment until some ingame stuff is revealed*
Now go out and procreate. IN THE NAME OF DOOM!

There are ways to go about giving constructive criticism on someones presentation and there ways to not go about it.
