Just tested it, well I particularly liked the magnum pistol and then charger, can't wait to test it on versus when the full one comes, charger will be very useful to catch up a seperated person and quickly incapacite him/her, and Smoker does better damage now, which is better, for the Jokey, it looks like something easy to deal with but I think it will be useful to seperate a survivor even more if he/she didn't catch up with others, and quickly suiciding one member to their death from cliff or top of a building :xD: And I do not like the melee weapons, not fun enough to use particularly, and I really do miss the old characters, I didn't like any of them 8| Oh and I do like the added sound of Smoker, hilarious XD

Yeah the infected roles have really changed. From what I've read, heard and seen, the roles are now as follows:

Hunter: killing separated survivors
Smoker: killing survivors from cover
Boomer: blinding and slowing survivors
Jockey: damaging and separating survivors
Charger: damaging clustered survivors (or killing separated ones)
Spitter: area denial through damage
Tank: maximally killing everything

I myself find it pretty good they were able to come up with some new roles. I couldn't have thought them up myself, probably. That and the community suggested every single one, probably 8| .

Spitter is a very good idea really, hell, Jockey and Charger both good ideas aswell, I see nothing bad for the side of SI, new voices and textures for older SI, all is fine, what should I want more ?! 8|

Somehow, I got demo version last night and play it. It was awesome and heck of fun.

I noticed some new items with 2 aid items and some 1 throwing item. I think call "vomited bomb" or something.

About new melee weapons, truly awesome and pretty handy to save ammos.

I remember I used to use the pistols and their melee in L4D for everything except the tank where I would fish out my M16. :xD:

Here's a way to play as infected in the L4D2 demo, apparently.

Tried the demo on the 360 and it seems fun but the console experience is far removed from the PC experience I found. The new daytime levels are good though and still have dark interiors. The walking witch caught me by surprise as I thought it was just a common infected (fail I know :)). The new special infected are terrific and the adrenaline pills are handier than I expected. The new weapons feel a lil excessive in variety but overtime I'll find out which is best I guess. L4D2 is gonna be good, but I'll make sure to get the PC version.

I didn't even notice the walking witch when I walked past the fences after the boat dropped us off, and wondered why I suddenly got incap'd when a buncha common infected attacked us. :) The FN Scar is sorta like a three-shot M16...
