I know LG is flogging a bitch cheap Android phone here. It's an absolutely horrible phone but it goes for around $200-250 AU (~$190-240 US).

yeah, I found Nexian phone with Android OS, but it's really quick to get hot. D:
which is better? HTC Desire or Google Nexus One? IIRC both cost same.
I don't find any Android LG phones here. at least not yet.

Well for all intents and purposes, those two are the same phone. The difference is that HTC's Desire comes with the HTC Sense UI overlayed on Android. Whereas the Nexus One comes with a stock version of Android. The advantage to this is that Google tended to update it more quickly but now both have Froyo (Android 2.2). Otherwise the Desire drops the trackball and has a trackpad instead (both redundant thanks to the screen imo). Here where I am the Nexus One is on average 50-100 more because they're harder to find and they carry the Google branding which some people get hyped about.
Side note: an unlocked iPhone 4 costs about US$1200 for the 16GB version and US$1400 for the 32GB version. Craxiness

That's not mentioning that Apple products here are marked up at least 20% of their US value. So that'd stick the 16gb at around 600-650 USD.

how about Samsung Galaxy S?
My brother got that and it has a sexy screen

My only gripe is that it looks like a cross between an iPhone and a plain old Samsung touch bar. Also needs a cover for the back.
edit: @Alias well that's the reality of the prices here since they aren't exactly supposed to be sold here. the funny part is that people are actually buying at that price though it tends to be the overly wealthy Gulf Arabs passing through

The sims three for a friend, who then decided that I should test it for him. (987 FPS was unbelivable to me)
