Sorry we took your favorite forum down folks, but we've been hard at work implenting some changes that we hope will make everything run that bit better.
To start with you'll see that we've gone and changed our domain name!! That's right, no expense spared for this community, we decided that we've been using the reneclips domain for long enough so we went shopping. As of now we are www.falloutstudios.net. The old one didn't seem very "us" anymore. Of course we'll keep a redirect in place for our old domain for a couple of months (just in case you forget).
Next on the list is the IRC. Bob has been busy creating a new page for our webclient and updating it with smilies and such. It's not the most ground breaking of changes, but it's worth giving him a clap for taking the time to bring the IRC more up to date than it was.
Moving swiftly on, the staff also decided that we'd better explain a bit more of what we're about here at Fallout Studios, so we went and spent some time arguing about "why we're here", "what are we doing" etc. So check out our new Mission Statement on the website and our explanation of how the Staff team go about their jobs.
We don't want you to think that we've spent the downtime working on just the glamourous side of admin life. No, we've also managed to put the finishing touches to our formal hosting policy. The website now includes what we look for when hosting a modification or game development and also what we can offer hostees.
That's pretty much what we've been up while we deprived you of your forum crack addiction this weekend. Sorry for delay. We're now back online!!
Fallout Studios Staff
PS for those who care and are interested in this stuff, we've also totally restructured our hostees ftp accounts, implemented a ton of server side improvements, put some new code into the wiki (for future changes) and given Bob his yearly bath

I THOUGHT I smelled something odd around here! Good to hear Bob's clean again!
Great work elsewhere, guys... it's why we pay you the big bucks.

It's good indeed to have these changes done, and while they might be nothing huge individually I think they make the place work and feel much better. Kudos to those involved, and now back to plotting the next stage of world domination!

yay the winds of change have come to take us to the magic of the moment and a new place does this mean we need to make new accounts or will they transfer over?
I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure

We're working on the Red Skin, which is a significant improvement on the old Soviet Skin.
