Ceasing development until CnC4 is out?

Dammit, i wish we would play this AWESOME mod in RA3...but you know what is better for you and for your mod.

Good luck for you, anyways...

Sgt. Rho edit: I'm continuing for RA3 after all, since I found a way to do what I need.

"The entire ocean. The entire world. Wherever we want to go, we'll go. That's what a ship is, you know. It's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs but what a ship is... what Tidal Wars really is... is freedom."

Mostly. I'd continue if I find a way to code what in CnC4 is to be the Crawler in RA3 or CnC3, because that was from the very beginning a core part of the gameplay of Advanced Warfare.

I must agree with one of the comments on the page, if you keep switching engines you are not going to get this completed |:

You'll be the Duke Nukem Forever of Modding!
You almost did, didn't you?

As I said, all I would have to change are a few codelines. Take for example RA3, when I switched, it took me exactely 1 hour to pass everything from Advanced Warfare for CnC3 to RA3. 1 minute of copying codes, 1 hour of removing obsolete codelines...

Yes, but you're going to have to wait a year for C&C4, then 6 months from that for the tools to be able to mod it.

Being inactive for 18 months isn't what I'd call an "alive" mod.

I don't call it alive either 8|

I call it, a mod in partial coma |8

Of course, I won't TOTALLY cease developement in that time, I'll do some stuff on it, just not as much as on TA or TD:TLS....

Then if you're going to have sporadic, if any, activity for 18 months, why do you still deserve hosting?

I'm probably having it moved to hidden, you know?

Unless I find a way to get the friggn crawler working in RA3...

It isn't possible? I mean, a mobile factory is something SAGE can do easily.

Hmm, Apparently I coded it completely wrong, I've now got one building to build everything.

I'm locking this thread now, since it's no longer up to date.
