*facepalm*

I have three proofs of that being wrong.

Proof 1

Proof 2

Proof 3

With all due respect, Sgt. Rho, you aren't exactly fit for telling people a) to prioritize a single/few projects over others and b) to take yourself as an example for high-quality work under disadvantageous circumstances. A) definitely also applies to a large portion of people here on FS, including me as well as many other posters in this thread, so how about we accept that he's read what you told him and decided to make his own decision?

And that aplies how?

Gen. konobi (spl?) has offered to help out in modelign, but there's no design plan to follow because there's no basis to work from.

This is why a concept artist is needed, to make concept art of the units and structures so that they have a simaler style and theme that we can work from.

Golan, the last project there "Red Zone Europe" is pretty much abandoned, due to lack of intrest. And my Tower Defense mod, as I said several times is not a "full fledged" mod either, as I work on that when I have nothing to do on TA or AW.

And Slye: It applies as in a mod can be made without concept artist.

This is starting to be a war betwen Fox and Rho...

@Slye_FoxI'll try to find a CA for you.

PS: what means (spl?)
Quote

Slye_Fox's Photo Slye_Fox 30 Jul 2009

@Rho
Yes, a mod can be made with out a C.A., IF they know what their design scemes are for all factions.

@Kenobi
it means spelling?

Just because you can work without a concept artist, doesn't mean others can. I certainly can't make decent models without concept art or reference images.

And the concept of this mod is to recreate an entire new world, so it's not easy...even with a concept artist...

IMO, a good artist should be able to actually be, err...creative? That applies also to 3d artist. And it means that you don't need someone else doing the desing part for you.

Kenobi: I'm doing actually that with Advanced Warfare >.>

I know but with Advanced Warfare you are using the same kinda of Earth, i mean the planet, the world keeps the same, the tecnology that you're using were much explored by in a lot of places/games/movies...You have a lot of Source to look to and get inspiration.

Isn't all days that we see a game/mod using Victorian Age Technology...in a complete different world. Where there's land above the sky. Where you have almost no water mass...

There are levels that play on fricken spacestations in Advanced Warfare, but we are getting off topic, as this thread is about Slye's mod.

Yep you're right. But i know a lot of Movies/Mods/Games that already explored teh Space Station Source. Wanting or not you have plenty of Source to take as a base.

But let's go back on topic.

There is no use saying something off-topic, and then saying "lets go back to topic" afterwards. You can have an entire off-topic conversation like that :P

The Ruserua Command Center (temp name) is the central structure of operations, able to relay orders from the chain of command.
The main function of this building is to allow the construction of standard structures.
An alternative function can be purchased from a small list to further enhance the building.

Factory Upgrade
With the factory upgrade, the command center is now able to create basic units without need of steam power.
