Armoured Sky
Ethereal Dawn

In a world where the land formation rise above a layer of toxic clouds, four nations struggle to survive.

Posted Image Enomei UnionA nation divided into eleven states, each of which governs it's own territory and resources.
Resources Collected: Wood and Water
Special Technology Area: Seismic

Posted Image Secundus Alliance
Long ago colonized by the ancestors of Enomei, this splintered nation fights it's oppressors for independence.
Resources Collected: Iron and Gas
Special Technology Area: Zephyr or Lambency

Posted Image Ruserua Federation
Having direct access to the frozen water supplies of the south, has made Ruserua the most powerful nation on the planet.
Resources Collected: Iron and Water
Special Technology Area: Lightning

Posted Image Galruh Coalition
The vast deserts of Galruh are only matched by it's vast quantities of natural gas deposits.
Resources Collected: Wood and Gas
Special Technology Area: Phlogiston

Mod Features

Resources
Wood - Gathered from Oak Trees
Iron - Gathered from iron deposits a the surface
Water - Collected from Water Treatment points at airship level
Gas - Collected after deploying a derrick onto a Gas Vent
Steam Power - Generated from a steam generator in base, when this is exceded by your steam points, all steam units will shut down.

Tech System
The tech system in A.S. uses RA3's secret protocol menu to control the tech levels.
The start at tech level 1, which gives you access to all the basic units and structures.
Tech 2 is available right away as it's a the top of the tech column, this will give you access to your factions' special technology.
Tech level 3 is the third upgrade in the column, this will give you access to more powerful units and structure upgrades.
The final tech level is at the bottom of the column and gives access to the most powerful units as well as the super weapons.

Sub-Structure Upgrades
A.S. makes use of the unused SubStructureUpgrade modules to give enhanced abilities to all structures (and some units).
All structures have at least one upgrade available, but only may have one applied, so you have to choose wisely.

Other Info

I'm currently recruiting a skinner and concept artist to aide in the making of this mod.
The skinner must know how the UVmap.
The concept artist's job is to create concept art of the units and structures of each faction making sure they have a simmer look and style.

Hosting
I'm currently looking to have this mod hosted on F.S., so if an admin would like to sort out the process of adding A.S. I would be much obliged.

Mod Team
Slye_Fox - Modelling and Coding
Vengeance Mk II - Ideas
Skinner - looking
Concept Artist - looking

Don't you think having... 3...4...5 Total conversions at once is a bit....over the top? I mean, I started a lot of mods myself, but those were no total conversions....

Sigma Invasion shows promise, It has an established fan base and damn good art. Why not focus on that? I am sorry to be blunt but you will never finish anything if you keep chasing every cool idea you get. It has been 5 years, You could have released two or three mods by now if you focused your efforts.

3. Armoured Sky

It is beign focused on, i can't show renders of code. and donne is abit busy with education so skinning and infantry have suffered due to that.

6 years.
And you have to remember I don't have a full team, it's just me doing most the work with one other person doing the skinning and infantyr modelling.

Nobody feels sorry for you not having a team, it is your fault for starting so many projects. Concentrate on one mod, maybe then people will have confidence it can reach completion, and help you out.

You seem to state how little members are working on your mods every chance you get, What other reason is there to do that? Attracting members with pity leads to inactive members you can't count on. I am going to say it one more time, Focus on a single project. If it does not take, at least I tried. :P

Good luck mate!
A question, is it goign to be futuristic or Industrial Age?
BTW is possible to add more tham one resource in RNA?

I can't see a probleman with having more tham one project. I have 3 and people complains about it. Commons guys! We do what we think that we can do.
People must stop complaining....

EDIT: Galruh Coalition's flag looks like Brazil's one.

Steam Punk, based on Victorian Era technology.

It should be possible to have more than 1 resource in RA3, but EA didn't fully implement the code because they didn't use it. And being the asses that they are, saw no point in enabling it for modders. I wish Westwood was bought by Valve, they actually support modders.

In the mod, the resources will use Ore node and auto deposit (and if EA fix it {which I doubt} the Tiberium field code) with settings so only certain miners can use it.

Currently;
1 completed
1 in the works
1 completed but mostly subject to change

I'm mostly working on coding aspects at the moment, seeing what unused modules actually work and such and which parts of the working modules don't work.
Liek the SubStructureUpgrade works and you can have more than one subStucture on it, but you can't limit each upgrade that's put on so you can't have 1 off substructures.

I'm also still working on faction build lists

Dude, I'm working on one mod and two TCs, all on my own. I got Anubis drawing sketches, but that's all. So stop complaining, and try to GET a full team.

The way you recruit a team is by releasing frequent updates that grab people's attention, making them want to contribute. The way you do that is by concentrating on one mod at a time. Nobody is going to want to help with any of your other projects if they realise your dedication and interest has fallen to a level such that you bugger off and work on something else. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but I believe it to be true.

On the subject of the mod itself, I think you have a good concept here. I'm just not confident it will reach completion.

In my opinion you should concentrate on one mod and instead of remaking all your models like in Condition Red, you should learn to skin and make use of it. In my opinion nobody can lead a mod without beeing able to skin or UVmap, not to mention 3 or 5 mods. In my opinion skinning and Uv mapping are basics for every mod leader.

If you feel like setting up another mod nonetheless, I wish you luck

RepWars is no longer in production (too many mods doing same thing) so isn't counted.
RtP is an expansion pack mod and thus isn't counted ether.

@Mr. Mylo
I know how to skin, I'm just no good at making the skin for anything other than basic objects
But I will try and further improve my UVmaping ability to try and attract more skinners (such as bob)

Also, i will no longer be reading/responding to anything off topic anymore.

I realise this sounds like nagging, but your skinning won't improve with anything other than practice and your mod can't advance without a founding member who can skin.
