yeah, i was thinking that myself...

the only problem i had was.. if i had it with no cut-off it was too big (imo) and without the transparency it looked too cluttered...

but the critique is much appreciated

well i made a small edit, following the suggestion.

I attempted to not cut the top-off, not make the sig dramatically bigger and not make the render dramatically smaller. So i increased the size a bit, made the render a bit smaller... however there was still quite a bit cut-off.. and i didn't want to change the sizes anymore since it would change the dynamics too much. So i took a bit of creative licensing and warped the middle spike a bit... and your only gonna notice if you look closely (and know what shadow should look like). Hopefully its an improvement.

Looks good, maybe add a little more color behind the render, but tahts just me-

Well the whole point of having it semi-transparent is it blends with which ever skin you use

He looks like an armoured fairy, i like the effect a lot.

Little update, made the BG more transparent for greater contrast, and replaced the font/style/name. Better? worse?



EDIT: gave the BG a bit of a gradient so it blends in better

Well I am struggling to see your first one for some reason?!

It's not quite transparent a enough for me tbh. I can still see the line all the way around. If that is what you wanted, GR8, but not my taste. Liking the idea though bud!

Even though I hate DB to death, that sig looks good so far.

Best combo would be old name with new transparency.

But tell you what, be bold and push it beyond your current canvas limit as it's cutting off the very top of his helmet (err )

I actually think that the C4D works as it is atm. It helps to ring fence it, but it's only imo.

My one main problem atm is i don't think the render is bold enough, so i'm gonna remake it from scratch, hopefully that should do it

Could have something to do with the outer glow you have on it?!

needed a new sig, and here's what i came up with...

designed for the soviet skin (since that's what i use and i'm selfish >=) ) although still looks fairly decent in ES blue imo

thoughts? criticisms?

EDIT: Small update, fixed the colouring on the hair in the bottom left
