I knew they had been developing robotic hands... but hands that can actually feel as well?... I guess it was only a matter of time 8|

Really interesting stuff, i can see lots of possibilities for this kind of tech in the future.

Better prosthetic limbs for those with war injuries. Maybe we'll soon get bionic eyes and ears as well.

Consider this the second step to bionics, as prosthetic limbs were the first.

Very interesting indeed, and very cool that there is the technology to even come up with this.

Actually this tech has been around for a while, but now the code seems to have caught up and likely the cost has gone the other way as well 8|

There is already someone with a bionic eye that enables her to see (almost) properly. Can't remember where I saw it though, on a documentary I think.
