Since a few days ago I have a serious problem with exporting w3xes: I cannot export them with external skeleton, without the model becoming invisible in the w3x viewer and ingame.

I did not change any settings what so ever. By the way, it works when exporting without external skeleton.

Processing Mesh: THORAX
ERROR! Could not run Shader Asset Builder - EXE missing or shader not in "Run/Shader" directory? (Looking for C:\ShaderAssetBuilder.exe) triangle count: 64
final vertex count: 127
vertex/triangle ratio: 1.984375
strip count: 48
average strip length: 0.645833
longest strip: 3

I get this kind of message ALLWAYS, independantly if I export with or without external skeleton.

I tried all possible available settings. "Export Geometry" and "Export Transform (Bone) are both selected BTW, and in the exporter I used hierachical mesh, with external skeleton, and the two other options there off.

What is the decimal separator of your OS? If it isn't set to "." and you simply manually fix this issue after exporting your models, when exporting with an external skeleton the exporter is unable to process the decimal separator in the skeleton file thus scaling your model by about factor 10000 (rendering it invisible in most cases).

I fixed it by now: The problem was that 3ds max was using commas, while the exported file had points...which apparently ended up screwing up the model.
