It bothers me still why the US uses the imperial measurement system. 12in in a foot. 3ft in a yard, 5280ft in a mile?

What the hell?

A system of .0001, .001, .01, .1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 Is much easier to use. The US should damn well switch to the Metric system as well as other countries that use the screwy imperial method.

Any thoughts on this?

WE as a nation way back when wanted to be. But now it is utterly pointless is it not? Useless and screwy.

CBoidy, then go and have your fit. I know years back, the government tried to pass the metric system out to all of the schools, so we could adopt the system. People didn't want it here, and it's probably still like that now. Rag on, but remember it won't do you any good. The only thing it'll do is get you stares from people.

Some aspects of the metric system I like, but I like to see my speed in miles per hour (don't ask why I just do).

hey imperial system is great i think everyone should go back to it not the other way around .
and we should make english a world language, and chistanity a world religon,and make every country a small state so we can have a world government to end all wars so we can be happy (unless it was a dictatorship then we would all be screwed)
