Campaign isn't too tough. Hardened kept kicking my ass for some reason though especially towards the end. Oh and the thermal sights are the single best addition to this game's weapons.

Thermal Scope+ Heart Beat sensor in MP. Now that is a combo that rapes.

unless you're coldblooded + ninja'd :P

i like how nearly everything in the game has a hard counter. things feel a lot less OP.

I don't really like having thermal scope on assault rifles. Give me my intervention with thermal and FMJ and the enemy will feel it :P

All assault rifles are a lot MORE overpowered now, especially because they can't be countered by anything :P .

only partially true, running very fast with marathon + lightweight for example makes it very hard for enemy players to lock on, especially on maps with narrow corridors and tight situations.

though i'll have to agree many AR's are blatantly overpowered, the m16 still being a shining example of this.

Heheheheh, nice, very true :P . Knives take considerable skill to wield well though, unlike assault rifles which any granny can score a nuke with :bestpost: .

You make it sound as if anything is hard to wield in this game.

needless to say, that varies from person to person. everyone should be able to find a weapon that suits them best.

I'd say the FAMAS is one of the better headshot prone Assault Rifles.

M16/GAL for the win.

This game WAS cool but after my PC locked up whilst playing it. IT WILL NOT CONNECT TO IWNET.

If this god damned game had Dedicated Servers there would be no over abundance of connectivity bullshit.

MP5K with rapid fire? :duh:

Riot shields? :sly:

Sniper rifles?

To be fair, anything that is less than extremely easy is at least relatively hard.

riot shields can work, depending on the map and what you use with them

while i agree some snipers are tough, try the 50 cal with an acog (dont snipe with it)

I never touch an ACOG except to unlock the thermal scope, then I throw it off ASAP. You can't stop the massive idling it often gives and increases recoil by a factor of hundreds (from hardly noticeable to completely uncontrollable, usually. Except on assault rifles ofc.)

Rapid fire is the worst attachment EVER.

Riot shields are hilarious. Most the time people just empty a mag into it then stand there wondering WTF they should do next.
Then I wip my throwing knife into their neck. :D

It's a midway akimbo attachment. Akimbo on SMG's increases the hip spread incredibly AND takes away the ability to ADS - rapid fire does neither and still increases your rate of fire by 33%. You're still able to make kills at at least moderate distance which is utterly impossible with SMGs akimbo and your accuracy from the hip is not affected. Think of it like that :D .

akimbo RAPES at close range. the ability to create a literal wall of bullets in front of you is the equivalent of having a full-auto shotgun with much, much more ammo and constant fire if desired. i love it :D

the 50 cal with the acog is an instant 1 shot kill up close, so no worries about recoil, just dont miss

Shields the only thing that's remotely hard to use. I love the GLOCKs on Akimbo/rapid fire as well.

Range is irrelevant on all sniper rifles. Doesn't matter if you hit someone from 1 meter or a thousand. Only thing that matters is where you hit them :D .

Actually I think that's quite irrelevant. Kalo is way out of our timezone to get in any meaningful games when we play them. Unless he gets his arse home earlier or we stay up hella late :D
