I like how he goes prone in that video to avoid the gunfire. Oh, wait! That's right, FrostCrap can't handle prone because people fall through the terrain.
Bland, unimaginative environments with little attention to detail. Recycled sounds. Crappy reloads. Wibbly wobbly jelly guns. Yep, looks like more of DICE's crap to me.

Best game ever,
... if it was released a year before CoD4:MW
well, not really
It doesn't look that bad, but since I own MW2 and BC2, there is no reason to get this. I would rather buy Black Ops.

Is it very weird if I say that this game appeals to me much more than CoD Black ops has done so far? It may be because I also favor BC2 above MW2. I severely dislike however how you can use the frostbite engine and not include the destructibility, as it is one of the few features that makes said engine worthwile.
Also in between the hate campaign spread by certain gold members of this forum (
), I do think this game will get good reviews, same with Black Ops. It appears that professional reviewers and first person (PC) fanatics are growing a very different opinion about what is a good game. This is already shown in the discrepancy between MW2's professional metacritic rating and the user rating...
*mumbles something about conspiracies of Activision and EA in respect with influental review websites*
Another interesting note. This fall will also see the release of Bad Company Vietnam. If this game's audience is those that like to play BC2, then the release of this DLC isn't really strategically planned is it?

After watching the trailer I can say it looks kinda lifeless. I'm not gonna buy it though, My economy can't take it, and there's a shitload of other games I want more.
EDIT: after having read this thread (and laughed my ass off while doing so) I think it can easily be summed up like this:

Medal of Honor singleplayer footage:
The reload animation looks bizarre. It's like watching a robotic arm in action.
When he switches weapons the gun slides off screen - barely any (no?) transition at all.
When he throws the grenade at 0:47 it's as if a father has just tossed a baseball to his 4-year-old son in the garden.
I know this all sounds very nit-picky, but nothing I've seen in this game impresses me. And they want to challenge CoD... with this?

Not like I'm trying to stick up for the shit fest that will be Medal of Honor...But...What? Its not like the whole idea was super original in Call of Duty anyway.
Stinger : That prone comment really doesn't make sense, they stated why they didn't have it in. Even if that still isn't a good enough reason for me. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've crouched behind something in BC2 to only get my head blown off.
EDIT : Looking at the SP video, I like how its an entirely different game in SP, and how DICEs chopped up Bad Company 1 animations look better than the Danger Close dev animations.

Honestly I have tried, but I don't see it. There has been countless complaints about the reload animations but in my opinion I just don't see what is wrong with it.
On the grenade, well thats just a different way to do it, a straight line also has some logic in aiming right.
Maybe I should feel lucky that I'm not so nitpicky on reload animations. These look fine to me, and so do those in BC2.

TBH, it was my favorite kill streak just because of how stupidly easy it was to get kills with

I honestly think that M4A1 reload animation was ripped verbatim from BF2.

Didn't this game get banned here in the US? I might be thinking of another one.

They banned it on US Military Bases (from the stores there) because it allows you to play as Taliban in multiplayer and kill US soldiers.
I might do that. I'll see if it changes my mind about this game. I am interested to see what they've done with it since the awful demo they first offered.

Their MP Beta sure as hell didn't do it for me, and if it doesn't do it for a DICE freak like myself? I doubt it'll do it for you Stinger. And that new mode really reminds me of Rush, IMO of course.

I can understand why the game is banned in the bases, Russian soldiers shooting at US soldiers is okay (I guess since it's war, and fair and all the stuff), but the Taliban and their asymmetrical warfare is...stuff like that. I might try this out.

I don't believe banned is the right term- I'm pretty sure it's just not being distributed from PX's, as a lot of other games are. I could be wrong on that, though.
