I want the demoman to win I worked hard for that 200 kills, Okay I didn't work hard but I still killed 200 of them

AS OF 17 DECEMBER, 0000 HOURS, THE SOLDIERS HAVE PREVAILED!
In other words, if you didn't get the message yet, the Soldiers beat the Demomen in the war, by a measly kill difference of 25456 (6,323,921 Demomen casualties versus 6,298,465 Soldier casualties)

I wonder what special weapon we will be getting.

I am dissapoint as the soldier unlock. I knew the demoman unlock would of been cooler. They even said so.

I had a feeling all along that Soldiers would prevail. 25k isn't all that many, however it's up from the previous update, where Demomen were losing by a margin of slightly over 14k.

As did I my good man. I worked hard to kill 289 Demomen. Was aiming for 300, but there weren't enough of you silly Scottish type to explode!

To be honest, it's a matter of opinion. Since I don't use the Demoman that often (if at all), the new unlocks (save for the achievements, and the awesome references they make) matter little to me. I am, however, very, VERY excited about the Soldier weapons/unlocks, as the Direct Hit looks like it'll be worth having. I'm also interested in the Equalizer, as having a faster moving Soldier (though less healthy) has piqued my interest.

After I got 13 solider's achievements, I can't loadout my items.

It seems have a huge problem with sever issue and steam cloud bugs(Most people got 5 or 8 every 2 mints).

Yep, that's the only way I'd ever hate it.

And the first "weapon" I get is the Buff Banner.....eh. It's a team player kind of "weapon". Sucks that it takes away the shotgun, so it's best paired with the Direct Hit (higher chance of a hit), because once you go through your rockets, all that you have to kill the enemy with is your trenching shovel or the Equalizer.

There is a problem...or rather problems with the update. Probably because almost every server is running at full capacity and everyone is either Demo or Soldier, trying to get the achievements or the new weapons. The oddest thing I've seen from this is someone "received" two hats for the Spy, but they never showed up in his inventory. Items will be given to the player repeatedly until it is put into inventory. A lot of people received the same set of weapons (myself included) a number of times after dying. On one server I got the Backburner no less than 4 times because of the bug, and the Chargin Targe/Sandman combo 4-5 times on another server. The bugs will hopefully be ironed out by the morning (well, morning for me ) and inventory should be freely accessible then...hopefully.

That explains how many rockets and grenades that are flying EVERYWHERE and I can't find any heavies to heal. (Well I do heal other people too...like you, Nooka. ) But seriously...people die like, every few seconds. Achievement unlocks quite a few minutes too. I once saw four Soldiers coming at us, all with Direct Hits...
