Clicky

Says it all really - Google has entered the market with a phone incredibly similar to the iPhone, give or take a few things. Not entirely sure what to think of it yet, the phone looks very good but it seems so similar to an iPhone, and a bit more expensive by the looks of things, so it could go either way. Anyways, serious competitor for the iPhone's most-wanted crown :)

To be honest, it's mostly a beefed up Android phone. In fact, it's almost like an Android version of HTC's WinMo powered HD2 with a smaller OLED screen. Engadget have an early review and they preferred Motorola's Droid (Milestone for the Europeans). Plus the Droid is cheaper. Check it out. This is the launch price. The Nexus One supposedly starts at 450€

It has a better camera and better battery life, which is always good.

I have an Energon Axe. Your argument is invalid.

I've got a HTC Hero and absolutely love it, I'm sure this thing would blow it out of the water though.

If the Nexus starts at 450 then it is not cheaper than the Milestone.

340 GBP = 385 EUR. Are you sure?
