Apparently I share my birthday with hordes of famous Americans, none of whom I've ever heard of, as well as famous chemists Rutherford and van 't Hoff :P .

The problem is not so much the date as the year.

This guy is exactly as old as me and has gotten more accomplished now than I probably will in my entire life.

Now all I need to figure out is exactly what hour he was born on to compound my disappointment at myself.

Let me get this straight - and please correct me if I'm wrong - You're depressed because you share the same birth-date and some person you don't know, whom accomplished a lot in his life?

Why exactly is that such a big deal?

EDIT: I share my birth-date with the day Italy declared war on Austria and Germany in WWI and the first Underground Nuclear test preformed by the USSR. Those were the only two events that I found moderately interesting...
