I believe stating that you have an eye for photography would be an understatement. In fact, saying that it's an understatement doesn't even cover it. I must ask you what lens and camera you're using to capture these images, as they are quite astounding, particularly the zoomed in image of the bird. A lot of your photos capture the tranquility and the beauty of winter, which, personally, are the only redeeming qualities of winter (I do hate the cold).

Given your apparent proficiency, it's probably already hit you that you could do with a wide-angle lens (let's be honest and say that every amatuer or serious photographer could use one of those 8| ), especially when taking snap shots of open fields.

Hmm I like your technique, but I'd say right now your images are limited by your camera sensor :). You should definitely get a cam with a bigger sensor. Either a dSLR or one of the new Micro Four Thirds cams out there.

Hey, im back on the forums and thought that ill give a update on this thread too.
I have now a new camera, Canon EOS 60D with 18-55mm lens.
More information about the camera http://www.dpreview....canoneos60d.asp
And i tried to put some pictures here but it seems that imageshack is telling me that the picture is too big, any ideas how to bypass that or get any pictures here?

Imageshack is not a good place to upload pics.
Use Imgur or Upload.ee :read:

The 60D is far to good a camera to simply be using the stock 18-55 lens. You need to get out there and get yourself a macro lens ASAP if you ask me. There a few reasonable ones on the market, I tend to go for Sigma lenses when I want to get them on the cheap as they aren't bad alternatives to Canon.

Your first is quite nice, if a little soft on focus. The second has a good depth of field as well. Nice work :read:
