Some little tricks I found while playing Arica Harbour:
-ALWAYS use warhead package: they increase your chance incredibly against enemy tanks. Today I killed another tank who fired first, and still had 14 HP left when the tank was destroyed.

If you see my post in the BC2 tech topic the Warhead package is only useful in a face-to-face scenario. The reload package would win out if you weren't just firing at each others front armour. Also for the Sniper Rifles and HMG, I'd choose the ACOG or RDS as they both negate bullet_drop.

Agreed, bullet_drop isn't something that you'll notice in a large percentage of engagements and as a lot of people play Assault or Engineer they'll never worry about it at all. However for those that do get to deal with it, the ACOG and/or RDS are damn handy ways to avoid the problem.

Can any one tell me how the Battlefield Veteran page works? It does neither accept my BF2142 username nor my BF:Vietnam CDKey

Vietnam you'll have to contact EA themselves. Dunno why 2142 isn't being accepted.

Might explain why the Garand isn't working.
Does anyone know how high a veteran level you need to get the shotgun slug enhancement?

i almost never use the high power scope, i always misjudge the bullet drop
and dont worry about it, the m1 garand kinda sucks in my opinion

If your wondering, it's to parody this video.
It's rather good, i love the effort DICE is putting into this, reminds me of the old trailers for BC1 parodying Gears and MGS, they were great

R7 server patch has been rolled out to server providers. Fixes include access for veterans to the M1 Garand.

Something I've noticed while tracer darting things: the Gustav maneuvers much more quickly to hit targets than the RPG does.

IIRC the tracer dart can literally turn the Gustav or RPG into a Javelin. If you have given it enough room and a clear los then if the target moves it will hit it. Obviously not good enough to navigate walls or anything.

The BFBC2 website states I am under age even if I havent filled in anything yet, and is doing so both in Opera and IE8, which leads me to conclude their site is broken again.
