What is the most beautiful word for you? something from your home country preferably, it could be everything, a name, a noun, a verb. As long as it holds a meaning to you, as long as it touches something inside you.

Personally, I prefer english over danish (I'm from Denmark), english simply have more variations, and it's very hard to sound 'cool' on danish.

But there is one word that is much better on danish

Kærlighed (Love)

I have no idea how to explain how its pronounced, since each of the three parts (kær- lig- hed-) are pronounced in a very unique way.

at 00:14, he say the word.

It holds the same meaning to me as the word "Beautiful" holds to many english speakers, (The danish word for beautiful is "smuk" pronounced somewhat like what you could imagine the sound effect, of someone being slapped), it sounds beautiful, and its meaning is beautiful.

PS: somebody's gonna pick Cellar Door, I just know it!

Quote

As long as the dark foundation of our nature, grim in its all-encompassing egoism, mad in its drive to make that egoism into reality, to devour everything and to define everything by itself, as long as that foundation is visible, as long as this truly original sin exists within us, we have no business here and there is no logical answer to our existence.
Imagine a group of people who are all blind, deaf and slightly demented and suddenly someone in the crowd asks, "What are we to do?"... The only possible answer is, "Look for a cure". Until you are cured, there is nothing you can do.
And since you don't believe you are sick, there can be no cure.

Marloo
Aborigine for thunder, Its also the name for Holdens HSV ute and it rolls nicely of the tongue.

I question the general assumption that i am inherently deficient in the area of grammar and sentence structure

Mamungkukumpurangkuntjunya means "where the devil unirates" in Pitjantjatjara.

It's a bit hard to choose an Aboriginal language considering there's about 800 of them.

That may be a verb. Romanian is a Romance language though, if I'm not mistaken.

xD I feel you. The words that I can think of in Dutch are actually all shared with english =O

For lulz I'd say Angstschreeuw for the funny reason that few here can probably pronounce it xD

In english I would go for pandemonium, a word for chaos in the organized form of all five vowels.

Y isn't a vowel, fool.

Situationally it shares some properties with vowels but it is certainly not classified as a vowel in itself.
