Image in question

hurray for the engine still not incorporating sloped surface correction on character leg position.

i'm also puzzled as to why the crosshair is all the way to the left side of the screen...

apart from that, i am liking the general art direction, also, it seems the overall atmosphere is grittier and darker than previous installations. as long as they do away with the abominable childs toy colourscheme seen in Halo3 i'm content.

The trailer was masterful, It's nice to see something that impresses without super fast cuts and over the top action.

yea, im looking foreward to them reverting back to the halo 1 formula like they did with ODST (which was my favorite aside from 1)

Sorry for the necro but there is a new interview video with the creators showing them talking about reach and showing in-game footage.
Newest Video

I personally reckon it looks stunning. Reach has suddenly become much more appealing looking and I may have to reconsider not getting this.

It looks good and I'm pretty excited for this one. On the trailer:

At 6:37 there's a clear shot of the shotgun. Looking forward to that.
And at 6:41 is what looks like a single shot grenade launcher, a la M79, which could lead to some... interesting tactics. Also looking forward to that.

OH MY GOD FFFFUUUU-.

This is definitely on my "To buy list". I hate being such a Halo fanboy sometimes =D.

The famous Battle rifle appears to be single shot now as well.
I imagine that might be some kind of a nerf. We can hope 8|
From the sounds of it, they want to bring back all the bits that everyone loved and they seem genuinely passionate about making something good. Lets hope they achieve their aim.

I believe that EA could learn a lesson from Bungie and their series continuity. Looks good, but then again, I've only played numero uno.

EA is a Publisher. Bungie is a development team..

If only there was a way to play it on the PC. I played up to halo 3, but then my 360 rrod'd, and it's warranty had expired, so, there is nothing I can do.

you can easily fix the rrod following some online guides. all it takes is opening up the case and fiddling with stuff inside. not hard at all.

and yeah, i'd love to play it on PC either way. halo:ce on pc was a pretty nice play ;)

I'm liking the smoother graphics as well as the newer weapon and game mechanics. Jetpacks seem like a load of fun. Though if there's any mechanic I'd like to see re-implemented in some game, its the Q-Claw from 007 Agent Under Fire :P

I used to have hours and hours of fun with that thing! It's a bit to ridiculous to be included in a Halo game but just cause 2 is built around it. :)
