As of this moment, the only thing I like in BO is Combat Trainiing (for owning AI and getting guns ofcourse )

Campaign-wise, I think, as many posts mentioned, MW1 still has the greatest, followed by MW2. Sure, you get to drive boats and heli in BO SP, but still doesn't fill as exciting as using an AC130 or Predator.

As for MP, I personally prefer MW2 (due to bad connection on PC), and for some reason, BO's multiplayer just let me down.

IDK, but probably gonna trade this in for another game.

Okay another question:

Does team balancing still suck?

In my [limited] experience of online MP in this game, no it doesn't. It does prevent you playing with friends in a substantial way however.

That's a problem specific to the PC version by design.

Console versions are reported to have issues with the matchmaking keeping friends together in the same party.

The PS3 forums on CoD HQ are a good source of information regarding the state of the PS3 version:

http://www.callofduty.com/board/viewforum....sk7r3o33c53p8i7

According to users there, the PS3 version has issues with the frame rate.

So I needed a break from all the FAMAS and AKs74u and I decided to play a few Gun-Games again.

And what happened?

3 Guys (with same clan-tag) found a very cheap way to get money: 2 guys played normally, trying to get kills, while the other one ran around knifing people.

The 3vs1vs1vs1 advantage wasn't really a problem at first, I still got to the final weapons first, but then it started to suck. With the launchers you are really slow and take a long time to reload, and you have absolutely no chance against a knifer with a pistol. By the time you made a kill with a launcher, you get knifed 2 times.

In the end one of them won, me and the other guy got tied at second. The Knifer was last, but if they do this all the time they'll loose 500, but win ~1400 every game, cause it's neary a guaranteed win.

So they managed to kill another part of the game that was acutally fun -.-

Combat training is the only part of the game I haven't tried yet

Also I'd add 'Private LAN matches' to the (killed)fun list, because the riddicolous hardware requirements make playing on my laptop impossible.

It's not like the game is not fun at all, but there are these small things that partly ruin it.

Sadly in every gamemode in every CoD game so far there was something that killed the fun -.-

And am I the only one who thinks typing in IPs manually would still be more comfortable than BO's server browser?

No, though I think the CoD 4 one was better than the BO one.

New update patch.

Click Me!

I have no idea on the network fixes, but at least no more crazy-crate-rolling, and sniper rifles can actually kill with a silencer.

There's a wikia for everything, you know 8| . But I advise not taking everything literally, there's a LOT of nonsense in it.

A page to the actual article would've been better methinks |8 . But I find it funny that Treyarch have to outsource even DLCs, because they're too incompetent to do it themselves. And the Body Odour refund petition because of "sub-par graphics, buggy software and less features" I like as well, signed 8| .

After receiving an automated response from GAME in response to my original inquiry, the gloves came off and I wrote them an angrily worded e-mail expressing my disatisfaction. I received this in reply today, about a week later:

Quote

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry that your product is faulty, please return it to us using the freepost returns address label at the bottom of your invoice, please can you place the code ****** on the label. Alternatively you can take this into your local store with your proof of purchase for a replacement or a refund.

Can I please ask that you obtain a free proof of posting from the Post Office if returning this by post.

As soon as the product has been received, a refund or replacement will be processed in accordance with your request.

I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Regards,

Charlotte H

The Team at GAME

If/when I get my refund, I'm going to contact Steam and get them to remove the game from my Games Library.

Has anyone had this done before?

What rage are you referring to? I'm getting a refund for the retail version of a PC game that has Steam DRM and showing others that it is possible.

How is your post helpful? :P

How to prestige in under 24 hours

If you go through with something like this you are blurring the lines between having fun, and doing chores imo.

Nah, thats just some light grinding.

Although at least grinding in Call of Duty takes a bit of consciousness and skill, unlike many MMOs :xD:

To be fair, the game wasn't actually faulty, you just didn't like it. Does that mean one can do that with any other game purchase they regretted?

I experience random three second long freezes, random crashes, and then there was the stutter lag when the game first came out. I tried to look past it and play the game, but the lag and freezes make playing it feel like hard work.

Faulty by definition:
not working or made correctly; having defects

It is the defects in the game that make it unplayable and thus faulty.

What do you class it?

I've bought plenty of games that I didn't like before and kept them because they worked.

I believe Steam doesnt do refunds...at least not willingly. But I aint that sure on the situation you describe. Contacting them to remove it should work if the refund was at retail I suppose.
